If you are taking them off your ss to sell, Im sure you will get some buyers on here. jas89tta 09-18-2009, 08:49 AM Thanks, I figured they should but couldn't figure out why everone was getting Cobalt SS springs instead. I had a set of Pedders springs installed yesterday and thinking of selling my stock SS springs with 4,300 miles on them but wanted to make sure Rod Run 09-21-2009, 08:42 PM how do you like the Pedders' springs so far? my 2004 GTO has every part underneath it that Pedders make and it made a world of difference jas89tta 09-22-2009, 04:27 PM how do you like the Pedders' springs so far? my 2004 GTO has every part underneath it that Pedders make and it made a world of difference I really like them  Just the right amount of drop for me the and the improved handling is awesome XXL 09-22-2009, 08:08 PM I had a set of Pedders springs installed yesterday What pn# did you use? Here's the link on Pedders site https://secure.merlinsoftware.com.au/peddersusa/default.aspx?Mode=PL&Level1=CHEVROLET&Level2=HHR The part numbers are 220006 for the front and 220007 for the rear. I picked them up from http://www.ottperformance.com/ Thanks for the direct link. Funny... if you go to the Pedders home page and try to look it up via their online catalog, they show nothing. I didn't think to bypass the catalog and look in their online store. Sounds like a programmer needs to be flogged  I'll have to look for other outlets to purchase. I've tried HARD to spend money with OTTP, but the guy just didn't want it. I had a couple of questions, but multiple emails and phone calls were never returned. I even checked my money to make sure it was real US currency... and it was! Oh well. EVSS 09-23-2009, 07:13 PM I thought Pedders only made that $1400 coil-over kit for the HHR, so this is a nice surprise. Do you have any pics with the new springs? How much of a drop was it over the stock SS springs? Was there any compromise in handling? Sorry for the grilling, but I would definitely be interested in these... jas89tta 09-23-2009, 10:56 PM I thought Pedders only made that $1400 coil-over kit for the HHR, so this is a nice surprise. Do you have any pics with the new springs? No pics yet the weather has not been good I plan on getting some this week end. They were definitely a improvement over stock along with a modest drop. I think the drop is more noticeable in the close-ups than the full shots, but if there's an improvement in handling too, then I'm in. RaineMan 09-28-2009, 01:15 PM So... what about using Cobalt SS springs? Are the springs the same between HHR and Cobalt? jas89tta 09-28-2009, 02:33 PM Springs will work between the two vehicles. I went with Pedders as I heard they worked well on the Cobalt SS and they improved the handling with no coil bind issues and a modest drop. I didn't want any issues on my HHR SS and also didn't want to loose any handling or performance so Pedders fit what I was looking for and improved the handling. If you can, post the part number. If they are different than the coupe springs, the rears might be a little beefier and hold up better on the HHR. The SS sedan is in lower supply, so the springs might be harder to find. RaineMan 10-05-2009, 01:24 PM If you can, post the part number. If they are different than the coupe springs, the rears might be a little beefier and hold up better on the HHR. That was kinda my thinking. The SS Sedan only weighs 150lbs less than the HHR... it was as close as I could get to actual HHR SS springs. I don't know if the numbers are different or not, I will post it up this weekend when I have them in my hands.
