mgfred 10-09-2009, 06:28 PM That was a pretty cool video! Felt a lot like I was in there with you! :D
Couple of questions...... Was that red car in front of you a BMW 325i ?
It appeared like you nicked him in the false start when he just slowed down real fast in front of you? It looked like he was real apprehensive on the first few turns then it was off to the races......
Wish I had a track back when I had my 71 Firebird Formula 455HO, probably wouldn't have lost my license for drag racing if we did......
Fred
Marcruger 10-10-2009, 07:51 PM You certainly had him on braking, and looked like cornering as well. Either your HHR is really set up well, you can really drive, or both. :-) Well done sir. God Bless, Marc
kartermdb 10-13-2009, 12:52 AM there was actually 2 BMW's of similar body styles, one started infront of me, and the other on the outside of him. the one that started infront of me had a stock straight 6 in it and he missed a gear or something in the 2nd start thats where i almost got him. But I will be going back in the near future, so look out, I now know how to turn stability control off, that time i only had traction control off and i was cursing it the whole time.
thanks guys!
Snoopy 10-13-2009, 01:27 AM Nice Driving.....done like a true professional !!!:thumb:

man that looked like a lot of fun. nice work on the video and the driving!
timberwarp 02-12-2010, 10:57 AM Ditto on what everyone said, I would love to do something like that on this HHR. I haven't hit the track in a long time.
HHR_style 02-12-2010, 12:09 PM This is better than a video game! I wanna do that!
That red car brake-checked you bad! good reaction times on your part to miss him/her.
get that blazer outta there!
some of those guys dont know how to drive.
I thought you were gonna split those two cars there that one time!
bassbase 05-27-2010, 12:07 AM That was the shiznitz. I thought he was going to split them too and was shouting at my computer - "No, no!! You don't want to do......good job."
Shows you just how good an HHR is out of the box. Do a little tuning with suspension and and bit on the engine and you have a stout little car for just a small amout of $$$.
Mike Fortin 03-08-2011, 09:06 PM I live in Orlando and would love to take my new HHR over to New Smyrna....what's the best way to get my car on the track?
Miltown SS 03-08-2011, 11:09 PM I've watched this video on you tube before...glad you are part of the community. That was some nice driving:steering:
