View Full Version : Selling stuff here...? Ancient Outlaw 06-17-2006, 05:02 PM Ok.... i couldnt find anything about selling things here ....so im asking you guys now....(rules?...do's and dont's) any information about this would be greatly appreciated :thumb: Firewatcher 06-17-2006, 05:12 PM I think if it's a little thing, like a single part or so, it's okay, but if it's a business thing, you need to become a supporting vendor. JonyyB is the real authority though. Firewatcher hit the nail on the head. You need to contact JonyyB and explain what you want to do and you will be advised as to how you can proceed. I too believe that you would need to be a supporting vendor. Refer to this (http://chevyhhr.net/forums/showthread.php?t=743) post for more information. ;) GDZHHR 06-17-2006, 06:07 PM "No free advertisements - If you are the owner or employee of a company, don't mention it, or put links and phone numbers in posts or signatures. Only Supporting Vendors can use links and numbers in signatures and posts. If you are developing a product, you may talk about it until you have it ready and/or you are taking orders for the product. At that point you must become a Supporting Vendor to be able to promote your products. " That's from the site rules. Just click on Rules and FAQ in the bar near the top of every page on this site. I'm sure the main thing point is whether or not it is something personal you are selling or a product. It doesn't mention the classified section specifically, but I think it covers all selling. Hope this helps. Holmes Hot Ride 06-17-2006, 08:00 PM Mike, I realy like your sig. How did you make it? Ancient Outlaw 06-17-2006, 09:46 PM Thanks guys and gals .... i shot JonyyB a MSG asking about it....:thumb: SindyDix 06-18-2006, 12:28 AM I would like to know also. I have a few items non-HHR related I'd like to pawn off on ya'll! SoCalHHR 06-18-2006, 12:36 AM I believe the "Classifieds" section is for non-retail oriented goods (example; my stocl wheels, which I would not normally sell through our website.) Basically anything you would sell at a garage sale or in the newspaper is game. If it were an item you would sell in quantity, or repeatedly sell - the classified section would be off limits. JonyyB 06-18-2006, 04:52 PM The Classified section is for private sales only. You may sell whatever you want as long as you are not business. (ie: your old wheels, intake your wife i making you sell, old pants you don’t fit in anymore  ) To sell anything as a business you need to be a Supporting Vendor. Contact me for rates and terms. Also, please not that advertising in signatures is not permitted ProMotionTuning 06-30-2006, 02:41 PM Tried contacting you a week ago, can you please respond to my PM so we can offer the community great products at a great price?
