Good one. And by the way his wife no longer calls him Tiger. It's Cheetah.
tireman1554 12-09-2009, 02:33 PM Back to the future part 4?
rubics_cube 12-09-2009, 02:40 PM The inexplicable lights are usually easier to explain than you'd think. I've seen military tests of rockets, flairs and all types of "devices" in the west desert of Utah new the proving grounds.
Of more note is the spiral pattern. That is much to consistent to be explained by any man-made device I'm aware of. However the combination of the explicable possibilities with the phenomena of ice crystals seems a good candidate.
I also find the still photos when compared to the video footage as being suspect. I'm not a videographer, but I do a lot of still photography. The quality of the low light stills, especially when unplanned, is of suspiciously high quality.
Bear in mind, I'm not averse to aliens or acts of god, but as Occam suggests, the easiest explanation is usually the best.
jeffros hhr 12-09-2009, 03:04 PM Looks like we finally figured out how to get through the worm-holes to our sister planet.:D

ChevyMgr 12-10-2009, 11:23 AM Now it is believed it was the Russians test firing a missle from a sub. Those silly Russians, they are so full of mischief.
solman98 12-10-2009, 11:35 AM I read that today also, but the Russian's are not saying either way.
Made for an interesting shot though.
jeffros hhr 12-12-2009, 09:50 AM So anyone hear if they ever figured out what this was ?
bigvalavgib 12-12-2009, 08:04 PM yes, they have. Russian navy was doing subsurface test launch of their still in development missile called "bulava" ([boo-la-vah]). The launch went fine at first, but the 3- rd stage malfunctioned and started spinning the tail, hence the spiral pattern. The light show was so vivid because they usually launch the missile from the border with Norway and in the general direction of Alaska which gives them the full test range close to 10K km. Usually the test missiles fly into the window of the abandoned house at Kurah test grounds and explode ;-). This test was #12 since 2007 and only half of the test were successful, which is normal.
THE BATMAN 12-12-2009, 08:55 PM Well then , That most be the most perfectly spiraling out of control rocket in the history of the universe. I think not. There's more to it.
THE BATMAN 12-12-2009, 08:58 PM Actually , Thats funny.
Oh ,Ya , Um , Those pictures and video, ya thats a rocket.
