Had to put down my white shepherd, Star, in July of last year and still haven't quite gotten over it. One of the most wonderful living creatures I have been fortunate enough to know.

German shepards are nice dogs my brother just bought a German bloodline German shepard. He paid a little more than I'm willing to for a dog, but he has papers, etc. Are white German shepards there own breed or born from German shepard litters (always wondered this)?
I've always been biased to Dobermans as far as large breed dogs go, I've own 2 in my life and both were very smart, loyal and overall the best dogs I ever owned. Recently got a new pup myself, I wanted another Doberman but the wife said no for a indoor dog. I wanted a robust medium size dog for protection from intruders (not as easy to find as one may think) and settled on a EngAm also known as a Olde English Bulldog, 1/2 English bulldog 1/2 American bulldog. So far very smart dog but stubborn (but we are working on that). His name is Gus but I call him little tank because he is so robust.
