You got nailed!

We're expecting about a foot and Cape Cod 's expecting maybe 14-16"

Nothing yet at Midnight in Clinton, Mass (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=01510&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Clinton,+Worcester,+Massachusetts&ll=41.335576,-75.739746&spn=7.159183,13.326416&z=7)

Weatherscan's forcast for 6AM is "snow, blowing snow"

Yeah, snow blows, especially if you don't have a snow blower

I'm ready though

Good place for all that Snow. Although i shouldn't talk we already go blasted with a Foot week and a half ago and there is another Xmas Eve/Christmas Day Storm on the Horizon. All there saying is Big Storm? Which i could be a weather man just blame it on the computer system if u get nothing.

I had to use the snow blower three different times just to keep up.
Looks like we got about 16-20" total.
What a pain in the back (and lower).

Surprisingly the roads are pretty clear (at least in the neighborhood).

Bill- Perhaps you need a 'back-pack' that holds a load of salt & has a spreader on the bottom..Make your snow-blower sweeps count. Would help your back as well..

My youngest sister & her family are up in PA. just outside of Pittsburgh..

ballplr-

I really don't share your love of snow. LOL.. I don't mind seeing it on National Weather. But that's about the extent of it..

My middle sister & her family though, are up in Arlington.

I'm the oldest & only male of our family..

After all was said and done by 3PM we only had 8" of powder.
1½ hours with a new(to me) snowblower for 3 driveways and assorted paths.
The controls layout on the Toro makes me miss the Ariens.
The Toro's a beast but I liked the controls layout better on the Ariens.

Hot supper with 4 Ibuprofen and I'll be good as Gnu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU).

Sorry...we could get up to one inch tomorrow, but other than that just flurries until and through Christmas....

(And that one inch is on top of the 1/4 inch we already have...)

I have an Ariens 524 for the sidewalks. Outstanding machine.

I also use a 22HP garden tractor with a plow for close to the house and garage.

I also use a Western plow on my S10 for the rest.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) we only got maybe about an inch or 2 up here in NY State.
