View Full Version : Here's what we need for all of this snow!!! jeffs396 01-08-2010, 02:13 AM This contraption is supposedly from 1929...WOW! http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,213971.0/topicseen.html sleeper 01-08-2010, 03:19 AM Jeff- That's cool..Fordson snow-motor :thumb: I'm more into Chevy power like this oldie, but goodie: rumored to shoot snow 200 ft at a mere 1,500 rpms as evidenced by the barely open flapper-caps on the headers, this BBC can blow da snow Jeff® 01-08-2010, 11:06 AM I wonder if it floats. Cajun 01-08-2010, 11:21 AM It was made just before the Great Depression...probably why it never got off the ground... Very cool, tho... urbexHHR 01-08-2010, 11:25 AM Wow, that's VERY COOL! Kinison_fan 01-08-2010, 01:17 PM Loved the old Chevy near the end..."wheels and axle can be replaced for summer use". How much would that cost today, for say, an HHR? SOMBERSHARK0714 01-08-2010, 01:31 PM That is cool, thanks for sharing, yo ! esmarkey 01-08-2010, 04:12 PM That was cool, I felt sorry for the hoarse. Weren't there snowmobiles made back then? urbexHHR 01-08-2010, 04:56 PM I know, I felt bad for that horse too!!! djr1973 01-08-2010, 05:33 PM I want asnowblower with a bigblock on it!!! There is a video on u tube of a V8 chainsaw. its an alluminum block buick V8 that will cut through a 30 inch dia. log in less than a second. 87silver 01-08-2010, 11:57 PM I don't think that dual scroll torpedo thing would navigate through the 120d switchback that I have to plow. I just use a 4.3L Vortec and a 22hp V-Twin! http://chevytruckworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/87silver/294489.jpg IgottaWoody 01-09-2010, 12:08 AM If this were a true redneck car/truck/wagon someone would have already mounted a small plow on the front....and a weight bar on the back( using live( or semi-live) people for this is optional) and maybe some of those all terrain traks djr1973 01-09-2010, 06:53 PM When I was younger and still in high school, there was this guy that lived down the road from the principal and he had an early 80's Oldsmobile station wagon with a snow plow mounted to the front of it and used it to plow his driveway. It was quite a site to see a huge grocery getter with a snow plow on it,lol. |
