Just found out they have closed off a part of the school my lillte sister is in because there is some air irritant causing many students to have problems breathing. They have moved all students out the main building including my sister the gym and wont release any one. Talked to my mom that is out side the school and her and few other parents are trying to get the kids out of there, and on top of that ambulances started showing up. So im just a little freaked out right now, I get a little paranoid about things like this, im sure ever thing will be fine but still. On top of this, just before I found this out I slipped at work and tweaked my arm. Now my whole arm up to my shoulder is killing me. Sorry just had to rant and get it all out, thanks for listening.

Hey ecl, I have 2 kids and school, and if that happened here I would be freaked out too!
Keep your chin up and hope for the best. My prayers are with your family.

Let us know the outcome....

I have 2 kids also and have been freaked out many times with the antics that are pulled by the school district. Maybe they're trying to cover up something else, because how many times has anyone ever experienced an "irritant" in a school much less than an office building or even a retail shopping mall? It's natural and always good to ebb to the side of caution, but in all cases, my experience has taught me that they usually overreact or try to cover up something else by a diversion. I'm sure that it will be okay, but keep an eye on the school district anyway, just for your own piece of mind.

Just an update they finally released the kids and staff around 4pm, and still havent found out what it was that was causing all the problems. They took 25 people to the hospital and one was air flighted out to the hospital. The local hazmat crew couldnt find anything and havent heard if the hazemat ever made it from Reno to check it out, so ever one is still in the dark. My sister made it out fine with no problems to report, but will up date you guys if we find out any more. And yes I did tell my boss about my shoulder but it seems fine now so I think im ok. Thanks for listening and your support.

Someone farted.....:red:

I'll bet good money all the hoopla was for nothing. There never was any substance in the air. Everyone that got sick did so because of the suggestion[I] that there [I]might be a problem.

In one incident familiar to me 13 Arkansas State Policeman were in the hospital for a Hazmat spill that never took place.
