So I was searching the used Ford car website and came across this one.... Not too bad.... I just wish insurance wasn't so much on one. When I had checked when I bought the HHR, a convertible would have cost around $1400 per 6 months!!! Not sure what it would be now with my new insurance company but I'm sure it'd be a lot...

That's the exact car I wanted...but I really like my HHR... I guess I'll have to keep what I've got... But we can wish can't we?

Ok...so this whole thing got me thinking...

I got a quote for my insurance with a 2008 Mustang Convertible (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-MUSTANG-DELUXE-CONVERTIBLE-SPINNERS-29K-MILES_W0QQitemZ140374534835QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_C ars_Trucks?hash=item20aef96ab3) That one to be exact. I used the VIN off it.

Anyways, I got a quote from my insurance lady, and it would only cost me $6 more per month to insure than the HHR, and it would only cost me about $60 more per month payment......

Hmmm...that really gets me thinking.

HHR SS is faster that a V6 Mustang....at least til next year.

Get a GT [V8]. It's a real Mustang.

No way. V8's cost more, cost more to insure, and use more gas. I don't care what's under the hood, I just want to look cool!!!

I'll be honest...I'd look a lot cooler in a convertible than my orange HHR...

This is really going to be a tough choice. I'm really considering....

The biggest challenge I'm facing is I would be afraid that I would regret selling the HHR. I mean, I really like it, and it was the first car I REALLY wanted since I was 16. But I'm a little concerned that if I keep it, it will fall apart. I mean, let's be honest...they do seem pretty cheaply made. But I'm just afraid if I do sell it, I'll regret doing so...

They are both nice cars, I bet you would enjoy either one. However, the HHR would be a better daily driver year round. The mustang convertible would be great cruising down the road on a nice sunny day, not so much trying to get to work in the winter.

Oh, it would only be a summer car. I'd drive my Lumina in the winter, and store the Mustang! Got it all figured out!!!:thumb:

Thats what i do , my 'stang spends the winter hibernating in the garage !! :thumb: Keeps the mileage low even ! In the nearly 7 years i've had it , only put a lil over 30,000 miles on it. :thumb:

Ugh..I was thinking so much today. I saw 1000 HHRs, but then again I think Flint is the HHR (GM) capitol.... But still. I love the HHR, but I really want a Mustang. But can I really count on the Lumina to last me for another 5 years? I don't really know...
