Sunday afternoon, Just out for a cruise, Get to a light 3 lanes each way. A mach 1 like the pic (not sure what year 03 ? ) pulls up , reversed of my colors , Yellow with all black accents. we look at eachother and the light had just changed, so ESB off.

The light changes, and i jump him by a fender were we stayed till i shut it down after 2 redline no lift shifts at about 65mph (in a 50 zone) . I'm sure he would have passed me , But not up until just after shifting into 3rd, which is when reasoning kicked in. He shut it down a 1/2 sec later after geting in front of me and looked over with his mouth open and gave me a thumbs up

At the next lite, he went strait and i made a left. If i was driving the stang and he was driving the SS, I would have beat him that way too, sometimes expierence beats HP.

I might do this once every month or so when conditions are just right, No i'm not reckless, Anybody else go up against one of these I think it had the 4.6 , Which is what i had in my mark VIII. I know my SS would torch my mark , But i figuered that engine in a stang would be super quick. ?

yes , For now, in the summer i will get a custom tune to utilize my CAI. With the ram setup it throws an overboost turbo shut down mode, and jumps from 12psi to like 17psi, screams for about 5 min. then the computer realizes theres to much air and shuts down. Debating to get the stage 1 , Or just take it to a local speed shop and dial it to the ram air. The dealer saaid the stage 1 will do the same thing, because it's a tune for the closed air box, Not forced fresh air. So i'd have to get a tune on top of the stage 1, (i know people are doing this) I think i'd rather give it to the speed shop to play with, 1 shot -1 kill  Trifecta is also an option, I just wish they were closer to home.

I will say that my SS seems to be stronger than when it was new, I'll hit 40,000 miles this week (21 months) . Mechanicly , It seems to be better than ever .

this is too true, a 10 second car only runs 10's if you can drive it

Glad to see you have some sense BATMAN. There is way to many people who believe the driver serves little factor in a race. I realized that looking at youtube comments. haha. Very nice kill. :thumb::thumb:
