Well, I ran my 08 LS 2.2L this past weekend with the new exhaust. It picked up a bunch. I have a 1/8th mile drag strip 10 minutes from my house, and since my car was new, I have been adding and subtracting parts to see what is actually making a difference. When the car was stock, it ran pretty consistant 11.50s at 61/62 mph. I installed the GMPP Air Intake and I shaved the ET down to consistant 11.30s at around 64mph. Last week I installed the Magna Flow catback system ( 2 1/2: primary pipe with 4" outlet muffler) and the car ran a best of 11.11 at 67mph. All night it ran low 11.20-high 11.10s, but it is tougher to launch on the OEM tires now, it wants to spin more ( 60ft times 2.6-2.8). I have been running the same tires for all of the testing, so the numbers are more accurate then with a tire swap. If I make a tire change, I am pretty sure it will run mid 10sec 1/8th mile times, but we'll just have to see. I will putting some tires on it soon and I will let you know how she makes out.

bring an air tank, I know someone got better 60' times dropping to 22 psi on the left wheel if memory serves me correct

22 psi on just one tire? Won't that cause the car to pull heavily to one side?!

I agree with Asanti. You run different psi's in tires on a circle track to get it to turn easier and hook right. I wouldnt think it'd be a good thing to do in a straight line. In a SS it'd probably put you right in the wall. Haha.

..... or compensate for a car thats already pulling because of say...tq steer....or because theres better bite on the right tire because rear wheel cars plant the rt rear more then the left because of wt transfere and thats where all the rubber is....there are a few reasons to vary air pressures.
