THE 2.4 MUFFLER HAS A LARGE TIP. JUST A SUGGESTION. :thumb: pontfirebird73 06-30-2006, 06:13 PM I thought about that but it looks like the tip is welded on. HHR PNOY 06-30-2006, 06:15 PM go to any local car store (pepboys, autozone, etc) and you can find bolt-on tips as well as welded tips for about $20+. jerrbear 06-30-2006, 06:19 PM I thought about that but it looks like the tip is welded on. I HAD THE MUFFLER DUDE CUT IT OFF AND WELD IT BACK ON. :thumb: pontfirebird73 06-30-2006, 06:37 PM go to any local car store (pepboys, autozone, etc) and you can find bolt-on tips as well as welded tips for about $20+. Bolt on tips are ugly and easily stolen. HHR PNOY 06-30-2006, 06:49 PM then the only option you have is getting it welded on. captain howdy 06-30-2006, 06:55 PM People actually take the time and carry a wrench to unbolt and steal an exhaust tip? :wtf: I'm not trying to sound like an ass but that's the first time I've ever heard of someone worrying abut their exhaust tip be stolen. It would be funny to see a video of a theif going around a parking lot checking exhaust tips to see if they are bolt on or welded! :rof: HHR PNOY 06-30-2006, 06:55 PM here are some options for you: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-Browse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2010919/showCustom-0/p-2010919/N-111+10201+600001736/c-10101 jerrbear 06-30-2006, 06:59 PM People actually take the time and carry a wrench to unbolt and steal an exhaust tip? :wtf: I'm not trying to sound like an ass but that's the first time I've ever heard of someone worrying abut their exhaust tip be stolen. It would be funny to see a video of a theif going around a parking lot checking exhaust tips to see if they are bolt on or welded! :rof:  :rof: :rof: :roflol: :rof: :roflol: :roflol: SindyDix 06-30-2006, 07:50 PM I just got the imco T-924 muffler (very inexpensive) after I saw the tutorial on SoCalHHR site but can anyone tell me where that massive tip came from? thats the one I want for mine. That tip is a special one! SoCal told me what it was, for the life of me right now, I don't recall the name of it. Right after Mike told me it's name, I spent over an hour searching the Internet for one, he told me it would be hard to find. I came up empty! Perhaps SoCal mght post it's identity! HHR PNOY 06-30-2006, 07:55 PM I'm in the mood to go hunting for a new muffler tip this weekend... SindyDix 06-30-2006, 08:07 PM If you find it..... (once he tells again), ya better get 2 of 'em! It is a "Copy" of a Sebring tip. Only the real Sebring Oval only has rolled edges, this tip is double-walled and fully welded just like the stock tip. It may look "huge" but actually it's just an oval and fits the stock cutout nicely. I love the looks & sound of it, but can't for the life of me find them anywhere! Many people have asked me to sell them - if I can locate them, I will. dan-d 06-30-2006, 11:21 PM People actually take the time and carry a wrench to unbolt and steal an exhaust tip? :wtf: This actually does happen. I had a nice tip bolted on to my Capri's muffler and stopped at a bar for a couple cold ones, and when I came out to leave someone actually stole my tip. I'd a never thunk it would happen...LOL Now I always weld them on. TX-HHR 06-30-2006, 11:25 PM People actually take the time and carry a wrench to unbolt and steal an exhaust tip? :wtf: I'm not trying to sound like an ass but that's the first time I've ever heard of someone worrying abut their exhaust tip be stolen. It would be funny to see a video of a theif going around a parking lot checking exhaust tips to see if they are bolt on or welded! :rof: I'm with CH, if you want to steal the hot exhuast tip off my car....go for it. db/sb 06-30-2006, 11:44 PM This one has "Bling" or "disco" or what ever.
