Deb: you could always run down to the Chevy dealer and buy a can of aerosol paint - then paint them on. :thumb: With some careful masking, you're stylin'!

Thanks Mike...never even thought of that. :red: But wouldn't I have to put some clear coat on too, so it doesn't chip off when hit by debris from the road? I'm so new to all this mod stuff...I'm like #5 in the movie Short Circuit...I need input. :lol:

Deb, you would need to use adhesion promoter to get a good bite. Then a coat of whatever "base" the Orange uses, followed by the actual color coat, and then clear on top. I know other Orange HHR owner's have used this paint, so you might PM around to see what's needed. It surely should match right!

heres mine go to a sign shop and ask for some scrap black vinyl it sticks right on

Just found out today that there is a blue that is VERY close to Daytona Metalic Blue that is a standard color at most vinyl shops. The one that did my company lettering on my back side windows put it on and it matches pretty good.

Most shops that do vinyl will have this shade of blue, just have them look @ the HHR and they should be able to match it. Just ask 6 inches and you can cut it yourself to match the bends. I have to go back to the vinyl shop again tomorrow to finish wiring them I will get the color code from them and post it while im there.
