Just curious, what's up with the quick change of heart? Also, give ebay a shot...I've had some pretty good luck with ebay. Sold my HHR rims to a local guy from ebay...

When I bought the wheels, as you will read in my previous threads, I was not thinking of lowering the HHR. I have changed my mind on lowering and can see that the wheels will not work.

Double check, it these are 17"s they should work unless you're going lower than the available kits out.

Everyone that I have talked to says that they will rub.............Great wheel if you are not going to lower or are going with Eibach springs.

Might want to double check that. If you're using the same lowering springs everyone else on here is using, the 17's are fine. Otherwise the people with the factory 17" rims would be rubbing all the time. When one starts adding 18" rims is where it can get a bit dicey.

You definitely might want to find a shop that lowers with an option to roll/cut the wheel well if needed. 17x8 shouldnt be an issue.

Keep us informed on the wheels vs. lowering. Which springs are you going to use?

They should work the ones that have problems are the ones who have 18s and up.

If you read his first post, you will see his AR rims have a +35mm offset. The stock 17" rim offset is +42mm - and that is only on a 6.5" wide wheel. With an 8" wheel and only +35mm offset, it's anyone's guess if he'll have enough clearance (you really need +45mmm with an 8"). The only way to know for sure is to "just do it!" (sorry Nike!)
