FINALLY got my goldlines installed today with some bonus pinstriping to boot. WOW!!! It looks so much better not having that stink bug look. I am having a blast doing these mods to my car! CGS Intake will be here Monday and then I must stop for a while or the Mrs. will kick my buttocks.http://chevyhhr.net/gallery/showimage.php?i=2007&c=3&userid=1077

By the way thx to ng8650 for the post on lowering with the Goldlines. Printed the entire thread and did everything myself except get the springs off of the front struts. Had to take to a friend who had a spring compresser to get them off. Ride was alot smoother with the Goldlines on that I thought it would be. All in all very happy with the mod, and the look of the car now is absolutly AWESOME

Do a preview before you post. It will show you what it looks like. No photo in preview, not photo in post.

I did it. I posted a picture!

The car looks mighty fine lowered with the new pinstriping and window visors. Nice work. :thumb:

If you would like, you can delete all the extra posts. Just go to each one, click edit, then delete. Then you will see a choice that says "Delete Message" and you select that. Then you can go and type in a reason in the box indicated, click the final delete message button and poof...it's gone. Same method can be used if you get overzealous and get a double post. Been there...done that.

It will affect your post count and those on the thread, but it will make for a much tidier thread. ;)

THANK YOU. Will be installing the intake myself on Monday. I have the imco 924 muffler already installed. Can't wait to hear and feel the difference on the CGS intake.

Looking good GRNDS! Good choice of color too!;) (but I'm a little biased).
It handles a bit better, eh?
Hopefully you had camber bolts installed when to work was done... if not- No Biggie. Just be sure to get it aligned within a couple/few hundred miles to prevent any abnormal tire wear.
"Prop's" to NG's write-up also :thumb: with Dan-D piping in :thumb:. I used them for a spot-on, trouble-free intstall myself!!!
Now all I'll need to do is replace the strut/shocks in a year (OEM units will be toast by then)... hopefully there will be some nice adjustables on the market by then... :D

Finally I found the time to lower my ride - thanks to everyone for your perfect instructions this task was easier than I thought..

Tip - If you do want to do this yourself "Have a BIG air compressor"..
