While living in the 5 bourgh's I have seen so far 2 in Staten Island and a couple at the dealer. Once while passing me on the belt parkway and a few in manhattan. I was getting the expressbus yesterday and I seen one on 5th Ave. So I took a picture of it with my camara phone.

Weird, the city is way bigger than Rochester and I have seen about the same number of HHRs on the road as you. I figured you would have seen more.

When the weather gets nice (or sooner) we should have a NY area meeting. Years ago, I was VP of a Brooklyn Datsun Z club. We would meet, exchange ideas, cruise, and go to races (autocross, drag, time trials at Bridgehampton, rallies, etc) together. I am really anxious to get to the strip and see what the car will do before I start playing with the engine. Plus, I want to get the actual weight. Plus, I want to make my runs with my G-Tech to see how accurate it really is.

I'm doing another Jersey meet in Feb. It's about an hour from you. Queens, BQE, thru staten Island, accross the outerbridge, 440 to 287 then its 1B towards Trenton and drive down a bit and you would see the place to meet.

There is another red one a few blocks from my house. I havent seen the owner yet. What we should do is make some kind of flyer informing others about this great forum. Then we could leave it on other cars. You know-spread the word

Yeah but I get pissed when I find them on my ride because someone was touching it without my approval. :mad: I have told people flyering getting close to my car that I would knock them out if they touched it. ;)

Years ago I went to Gilley's (as in The Urban Cowboy-it was the largest bar in the world). In their huge parking lot, they had people that would put a Gillies bumper sticker on each car. Turns out, lots of people didnt want them and got pissed. In Texas (or I guess anywhere) it could be dangerous. So they changed their policy and posted signs that ONLY if you left your visor down would you get a free sticker.

Anyway, around these parts flyers dont do any damage to the car. Besides, I think a car person would appreciate learning about this great resource and all of the great people here.

yea im def down with meeting up.. only thing iv done is get that HID kit from uneek and took the emblems off... soon as the weather gets better ill do more
