The 07's are out. Just stopped by the local dealer here, they have Two. One LS, One LT. Both Sandstone, LS is $16,000, LT has no sticker yet. Both have the boards on them.

Go to the Chevrolet page check your area for offers, GM is offering 1.9% on HHR's but no rebates. The HHR looks like it will have the running boards as standard equipment, the LS was a standard unit with only an Automatic trans no options I saw, but had the boards.;)

buy an 06 at 0% and get them to throw in the running boards. with only 9600 selling in June i am sure they will wheel and deal

if they wont come to Grapevine, i have a bud that sells Chevys that will put you in a ride. they a alot of HHRs and they are one of the largest Chevy dealers in the country.

0% will be impossible to get this late (I wish it weren't). GMAC won't authorize anything backdated this far out. Unfortunately the running boards don't come standard, not for us United States of Americans.

GM will be announceing something on monday for the new promotion.

Also to clarify things. 0% did end on july 5th. You cannot order vehicles. you couldnt use 0% on any 07's except for avalanche, tahoe, and suburban.

Also dealers are not going to throw running boards in for free. there is very little mark up on the HHR. its cheaper to have the boards put on the sticker. They are installed at the dealerships. but because they are on the sticker. GM pays the service departments to install them. If you put them on after the fact. you not only have to pay for boards, but then also pay for the labor. so it is highly unlikely you can get boards for free.

This also goes back to GM's Total Value Pricing. They lowered all MSRP's (Window sticker prices) and took the gross out of the deals. this was a way to stay competitive with not only other manufacturers, but to make it easier to buy between dealerships. It puts the dealerships on the same playing field. Which in turn helps you the consumer not have to spand too much time having to shop around.
