I use IE and Firefox. For some reason the site is messed up in firefox. I have to work on that.

I use only Firefox (just uped to 1.5.0.1) and never had an issue with this site.

Anyone using IE, dump it unless you enjoy spyware on your PC. Since switching to Firefox, not one spyware program has made it on to my PC. ;)

I get lots of pop ups with IE. Not so with Firefox. . . and I like their logo.

For now, I'm still on IE, only because I'm running Mac OS X v10.1.2. I'll hopefully be getting a new computer by... uhh... next Christmas, lol...

The Power Mac G5 has had my eye for quite some time.

Nah, not really. My first computer was an IBM running Windows95. That computer was CRAP and lasted, barely, 4 years before its insides were fried. My second computer, the one I am on now, is a graphite iMac, which has (knock on wood) preformed well for the past six years, going from Mac OS 9 to X. I bought a Dell Dimension 4600 running Windows XP in 2003(?), which was my main computer until that, also, died after only one year. I'm a Mac supporter for life. :cool:

I saw this on a website and thought it was true, in a way (and, well, just funny):

I must say I haven't been on osx too long, but I'm starting to see why people would pay the price to have it. I love dual booting osx and windows on my compaq. Once a cheaper intel ibook comes out I'll be buying that for sure.

You can't post a link within your message in Firefox. I have to bail out to IE on the few occasions that I need to do it.

I use Safari. Have iMacs and Powerbooks. Have G5 with 20" screen.... love it.
I have 7 total = only have had to put 2 in shop...

all of a sudden on IE when i post off a quote,,, it has been locking up alot and have gone to Mozilla and no porblems

Firefox for the lack of spyware and pop-ups... Yaaahhhhooooooeeeee...

i uase AVG personal free edition and it pretty much takes care of everything like that

never have to worry and its great on viruses

I love Firefox.
It doesn't handle YaHoo very well though.
Damn thing generates errors and crashes every time I check my mail. :mad:

I use Firefox and IE7 (just downloaded it)... two are very similar. I like Firefox and reserving my opinion on the IE7 until I use it more.

I use MSN Premium...it came with my 1st computer and then when I upgraded to DSL it was part of that package from Qwest as well. Works fine for me with pop up blocker and rarely if ever crashes, so I'm good.

:nuts: Just upgraded to ie7 and so far so good except I do not have a mail icon to click on to get my email. I have to run Outlook to get email. The other drawback is the ie7 is a beta and a lot of programs will not work with it as it has not been released yet like Norton Antispam. Other than that it seems to fix the problem with ie6.02 I had when after going to a few web site pages a pop-up would come up and say 'No Internet Connection'. I am on Cable Modem so the internet connection is always there..

it will be kind of interesting if we compared the responses in this poll to the actual webserver logs that capture what browser people are using. I posted this on one of my pages once and over half of the peopel claiming firefox were actually using ie at the time they posted their response.


personally im on IE7 and its fairly good. I have the others loaded on my computer just to check compatability with sites when I am writing them.

I've use Firefox for some time and, as mentioned, it is great for keeping spyware and pop-ups down. Of course, as it gets more popular the bad guys are finding ways around it and I get pop-ups from time to time. Still nothing like it would be with IE.

For those of you who have trouble with Firefox on certain sites, go download the IE Tab extension. It is great! My bank site never worked well with Firefox and the IE Tab fixed the problem.

I also have IE7 just for kicks although I hardly ever use it. They have gone a long way to make IE7 look and work more like Firefox.

That is strange, huh? I wonder what someone would gain by saying they use Firefox when they are really using IE. It doesn't make much sense.

BTW, for those that said IE came with the computer and is free... Firefox is free too.

I use Yahoo with a very High Speed DSL with a Pop up Blocker by Dell, I have no Pop up windows at all.

Netscape 7.02 on my 6 year old Mac....

Actually since AOL bought Netscape (ages ago), i've been considering changing, but will have to wait until this ol'thang stops working. Can't cost justify spending the money on a new puter now. Still saving for mods.:thumb:

Using IE7, has it's good and bad, seems to have issues with some sites, but none with this site. IE7, Windows Defender, and a good antivirus/anti spam program, no problems at all. Put my mail program in task bar, or on desktop, not having any problem so far. Firefox also has issues with opening some sites, soo, I'd say what ever you are comfortable with. Used to use Netscape, but had too many problems opening sites with it too, a lot of sites use microft, soo, using IE is more universal to me.

Anyone using IE should at least try Firefox. It's a quick download and a great product an very easy to switch to. Like almost all web sites, this one works perfectly fine with Firefox.
