Take a big paper bag, cut it to fit the out side of windshield. Now take this cutout inside to fit it . (take your time) . You must locate your mirror slot, and the "A " pillars are ackward, and keep in mind that the shield is accordian type .Now you`re about ready to cut. Before you do , remove the trim around the outside, be careful because you`ll want to have it sown back on the sized shield. Have it double stitched because you have to handle it twice a day. Mine came with a strap with velcro, to keep it neatly folded, it must be adjusted too, when reattaching trim. Didn`t say it would be easy, but you`ll love the finished product if you be careful/patient. People think I bought mine that way. B/B TomsHHR 07-18-2006, 09:46 PM Need to see one with the big "HHR" on it. Or "Not A PT" GRUMPEE 07-18-2006, 10:01 PM Wolfie, I have the Shade from Heatshield that Captain Howy provided a link to. It's rigid enough that you don't need the visors to hold it up. Whan you're done withit roll it up tight secure with the velcro strap toss it in the back and drive off. Yes it's a little pricey but it's a good product, I recommend it. ivtech 07-19-2006, 12:29 AM I got mine from ebay seller is reflectioncircle. Fits grat rolls up and secure with attached velcro strap. courthousedeb 07-19-2006, 12:22 PM I bought an Axius Sunshade like THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/AXIUS-PLATINUM-ALTUS-SUNSHADE-2003-CAR-AUTO-SOPUS_W0QQitemZ140009014978QQihZ004QQcategoryZ8843 3QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) one on eBay. It fits very nicely in the HHR and you don't even have to put down the visors. I didn't get mine on eBay and can't remember for sure where I got it, but I've only been to Checker Auto Parts, Auto Zone, Walmart and KMart. My best guess would be that I bought it at Walmart, as I shop there more than the other 3. http://i10.ebayimg.com/02/i/07/c1/46/03_1.JPG |
