Hey guys/girls,
On the checy website you can now build your own 2007 HHR:thumb: I found out what the colors look like and it also looks like their is a new style of 17 inch rims:eek: . What do you guys think:roll: Here are pics of the New Imperial blue and the New teal color. :thumb:
captain howdy 07-17-2006, 09:54 AM It looks like everyone speculating that the running boards were going to be standard on the 07 model were wrong. They are still an option, at least here in the US.

Just did a "build and quote", the running boards are not listed anywhere for the HHR. They are not listed as an optional add-on, nor are they listed as standard equipment. Anyone see where they are standard/optional on http://www.chevrolet.com/byo/build.cv?year=2007&make=Chevrolet&makeId=001&model=HHR&modelId=097&subModelId=300
dbarberaz 07-17-2006, 10:44 AM I looked also and came up the same no running boards listed
Now that I think about it same with the splash gaurds
Novadiecast 07-17-2006, 10:47 AM You can also search dealer inventory of the 2207. I did and found several that had the boards and splash guards listed as an option on thier window stickers. But you are right they are not listed as options on the build your own site.
captain howdy 07-17-2006, 10:48 AM http://www.chevrolet.com/hhr/features/
Both the spash guards and running boards are listed as options just like on the 06 model.
it also looks like their is a new style of 17 inch rims:eek:
Those are the same rims that are featured in the brochure I got from the dealer LAST year. Other than the HHRs featured in the brochure/chevy site, I still have yet to see these on any HHR.
cschhr06 07-17-2006, 02:13 PM i just got back from my chevy dealer and they have 3 LS's and 2 LT both LT's are fully loaded little over 24 grand and neither of them have running boards, but they do have stone guards on the rear fenders...
when i did an 07 search for the 3 chevy dealers here in vegas it, it came up with 21 LS's and 17 LT's and 75% of the LT's were summit white, and not one of the new colors yet.
O6ChevyHHR 07-17-2006, 05:52 PM what dose everyone think of the pics i posted.

captain howdy 07-17-2006, 06:27 PM OK, now I'm jealous! I want an ebony interior. :cussing:
EasyRay 07-17-2006, 06:31 PM I have my original sticker, and on it says....GM ACCESSORIES (DLR INSTALLED): RUNNING BOARDS,COLOR KEYED.
Now they are not an accessory but a FACTORY OPTION.
Does it make a difference?
captain howdy 07-17-2006, 06:34 PM They are both. You can get them as a factory option or get the through GM accessories if you didn't get them as an option. If you buy them through GM accessories you have to pay for the install.
cj krause 07-17-2006, 06:40 PM i like the color of the seats and i like the color of the spring edition seats as well
both are very cool

That doesn't list all of the accessories.
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/accessories/frameset3.cfm
You'll have to select HHR from the list because I cant link directly to it. Several of our members didn't get them as an option but bought them through GM accessories after and added them.
cj krause 07-17-2006, 07:08 PM what i find interesting is on the
LS- you can only get black, silverstone, sandstone and sport red
1LT and 2LT- has all 10 colors and 6 seats covers
O6ChevyHHR 07-17-2006, 08:36 PM thats werid.

CH, that's not a GM site.
GMPartsDirect.com is independently owned and operated by Flow Chevrolet, LLC,
an authorized independent reseller of General Motors Parts. This site is not owned or operated by General Motors Corporation.

When my wife bought her Alero a few years ago, you could only get the "nice" colors with the upper tier models. Not many choices on the base model. This might be the case here. Another way to get people to buy a more expensive model.
But then again, what the heck do I know!:D
captain howdy 07-17-2006, 09:05 PM CH, that's not a GM site.
:red: You're right. I forgot which one is the actual GM site for a minute.

Have been in touch with one of our members who works for a local Chevrolet dealer here in town. He will let me know when the 2007's hit the dealership and I'll go out and take some pictures and share them with the rest of you. :thumb:

My dealership was unloading a truck of HHRs. They are still recieving 06 models.
dbarberaz 07-18-2006, 12:02 AM I just check in the Phoenix area and there are about 15 LT's and 4 LS's on lots right now.
GDZHHR 07-18-2006, 12:40 AM Just checked the St. Louis area, 57 2007's. Dealer we got Bonnie's at has 5, the one I bought mine from has none, they lost their floor plan.
After going through half of the dealer inventories only found two thad had Imperial Blue, mostly white and sandstone with black next. A few sport reds and silver.
O6ChevyHHR 07-18-2006, 09:07 AM My dealer here in Naples dosent have any yet but my buddy salesmans going to give me a call when he recives them and recives the 07 brochure.

Above was copied directly from the Chevy HHR site under exterior tab. End of battle.
BTW - Notice that they aren't "molded assist steps"? They are officially "running boards"
O6ChevyHHR 07-18-2006, 06:19 PM they are an Option for 2007 it says it in the 07 HHR Brochure i got one today.
SIHHR 07-18-2006, 10:48 PM I noticed there is also a DVD system with monitor's in the headrest option. I belive that might or might not have been posted.
cvrogershhr 07-19-2006, 01:39 AM The sandstone one here, a LS, has the running boards and they are options , still $445.00. So guess you need to decide if you want them. Not seen new colors yet, will go by in the morning when off work and check them out.
