Well I completed the first mod to my ride last night.
Not much of a mod compared to a lot of the stuff I have seen being done through this forum.
I ordered and installed the steering wheel audio controls. Thanks to the expert advise offered on another thread it was a snap to do. For less than $50 it is worth it.
Now all I need to do is get my wife to let me do all of the other things I want to do to the HHR.

It was an easy mod, I would say it took about 10 minutes to do. Deb put some very good instruction within that thread, made it so simple even I could install the controls.

Took about 10 days for the parts to arrive from gmpartsdirect.com.

Glad to be of service. :thumb: Took me longer than that...but hey, it resulted in a step by step how to for those of us who are not at mechanically inclined as others here on the forum. :lol: That's a great mod, isn't it? I just love the new controls...just takes a bit to get used to having them there. Still find myself using the regular radio controls occasionally. :lol:

When my paycheck allows me to do other things to my car. That's when I will do more mod's. Thats after all of my bills are paid and money is left over.

I agree with with the previous post, but I believe if the wife ain't happy-you ain't happy!
