I've never heard of mortorsport springs before. That is a good price, but what about the quality. I just bought some stock cobalt SC/SS springs from I guy that droped his. Payed around the same price as that. there not going on just yet though.

Got to be something wrong with that. I wouldn't want to be the first to try them out.

Buyer beware! Those are the Progress springs we sold for a brief time - just rebranded. See the progressive rate springs? On those rear springs five coils were stacked and binding just at normal ride height. And a certain "little lady" I know was able to compress a spring fully with her foot on the spring while it was sitting on the ground...unreal!

Verdict: steer clear unless you want bottoming and bouncing!

Ask HHRNOPT - he installed a set. (*Note: before the "lynch squad" starts calling me a spade because I don't sell that brand - know that we DID, but discontinued them because it's a Cobalt spring and cannot properly support the added weight bias of the HHR.)

On suspension products for the HHR; you get what you pay for.

I saw that this same vendor had coilovers for the HHR at a ridiculously low price a few weeks ago... Same manufacturer - Tom Motorsports in Japan. In the Fiero world we had a lot of companies offering generic coilovers at low prices. They weren't really made to fit the Fiero but you could put them on there. The biggest problem people had is that they weren't really coilovers and the springs were falling out if they ever hit a big bump or got air and too weight off the wheels. Obviously I don't mean the springs were falling all the way out, just outside of the seats.
