We've finally found some Vent Visors for the HHR that look cool and not "geeky" - and I'm happy to say we now have them on our site.

Smoked gray to cut the sun, and in-channel so you don't need tools for installation.

http://www.socalhhr.citymax.com/i/Vent%20Visors/Visors_Lead.jpg

What I like the most about these visors are:

a) the way the front window visors meet the bottom of the window sill.

http://www.socalhhr.citymax.com/i/Vent%20Visors/Vents_Vert_Sm.jpg

Nice and clean. Wraps around the mirror and stays out of the way.

Kind of has a "NASCAR" look, like they were designed to be there - not an afterthought like some brands.

b) the look from the inside of the car looking out.

http://www.socalhhr.citymax.com/i/Vent%20Visors/Vents_Inside_Sm.jpg

Once again I'm smiling every time I get in the HHR! It feels like a "race car." Cuts more sun and I feel more separated from other drivers - in my own little HHR world.

Of course these visors allow you to crack the windows on hot days and not have it look like it, and they reduce that nasty "wind buffeting" we have at highway speeds.

100mph tested and proven safe. :D

I'm pleased as punch that we have these in finally, and know that you guys will love them too. If you are in need of vent visors - check 'em out!

They can be found on our site HERE (http://www.socalhhr.citymax.com/catalog/item/2608356/3339492.htm) (yada, yada...)

Yeah, if you knew what we pay for them, you would wonder why we're selling them so cheap!

I know there are other brands you can pick up for $65, but these are not those...

Mike
can you take a pic of the top of the front and back Visors so we can see how they fit in the channel w/o any 3M tape

i would really like to see the back as well but the front has my curiousity up.
we bought some for the Nox that were in channel and they stunk. they came out after 6 months use and i have not bought any since. they were made by Wade and pretty much as they say in Texas worthless as a tit on a boar.

i still have them and they sit in my garage on a shelf.

Nope, sorry CJ, I'd rather not give away any of our secrets. Trust me when I say that they fit in VERY snugly and are not coming out!

They are seriously in there once installed.

Sorry I can't be more help. :(

I have the tape on vents. I prefer the inchannel like SoCals-except for one thing. The rear vent only covers the large window and not the smaller one.

Yeah, I like that fact too Lee - but I don't like having visors taped to my paint.

There's always a trade-off. :(

I like the looks of the Vents Mike is selling, but since I've had those that I bought from the Dealer on the HHR for almost a year now, it's kind of a non-issue!

Not too sure why you thought the Original in-channel type looked "GEEK-ISH", I don`t like the way piece continues down to the bottom of the window. And from the pic. there seems to be a bow-in effect , top center. not stiff enough, too long.

SoCalHHR
08-05-2006, 02:12 PM
That is a relection, there is no "bow-in" on the visors. Very stiff, very sturdy.
The piece that continues down the window "frames" the rear view mirror very nicely and makes the whole setup look OEM.
It also helps deflect a lot more wind from entering the car.
I didn't like the way others "just stopped" at the front window frame, not lending much support.

Everyone has their own idea of what they like, sorry if I offended you.

Did anyone mention how easy these are to install? OMGosh, easy, easy, easy I tell you!

These babies are in there snug/tight, they aren't movin'!

I know not everyone digs 'em, no worries, here's what they look like on Casper! (more pic's in my Gallery *HERE*) (http://chevyhhr.net/gallery/browseimages.php?do=member&imageuser=598)
Thanks Mike!

...and tomorrow, Casper comes out of the closet!

Hi Charles, I'm sorry but they only come in sets of 4 for all four doors.
