Who else is coming!!!!!!!
Applenut 08-20-2006, 09:47 PM At this time....the two of us, but that is why I picked a date in September, it'll give people time to decide if they want to come and arrange their schedule.
Applenut 08-30-2006, 09:30 PM just puttin' this to the top...
SIHHR 09-01-2006, 11:24 AM Sounds like a possibility. Its only an hour an 18 minutes away. I think I could get there quicker.
Applenut 09-01-2006, 09:59 PM I'm guessing Mapquest uses the posted speed limit for those times......I consider them suggestions.;)
SIHHR 09-01-2006, 10:01 PM I'm guessing Mapquest uses the posted speed limit for those times......I consider them suggestions.;)
I think an hour would be reasonable. If things work for out for me to come. I would leave around 10:30 which would allow me enough time to make it there. How many people are down for this so far?
SIHHR 09-01-2006, 10:03 PM Look like you and me so far. I edited the name of the thread to draw attention to others in the area

Peace,
Curt

SIHHR 09-16-2006, 06:30 PM I had mine washed last week and kept in the garage all week. I did get caught in the rain last night. The car wash placed used Rain-X which helps it out. I know driving down It would get slighy dirty. But I have rags to wipe any dirt. I'm in hoboken tonight, going to the Yankee Game tonight. I will be leaving Hoboken tomm around 10:00ish. I will see you guys at 12 noon. Curt it was good talking to you before on the phone. Sorry I cut you off, but your wife was calling you and I did not want to keep you on the phone much longer it could of been important. I guess you will let me about the phone call tomm.
HHRDE 09-16-2006, 07:12 PM I'll wash mine in the morning to make sure it doesn't get rained on tonight. See ya all around noon tomorrow!!!!!:thumb:

A Helo Guy, I heard that it was tough working on those Helo's, with the torque of the motor, nothing ever stayed straight... The place I work for sold the Military a bunch of Troop crash seats for the H53 a few years back. The A-6, my all time favorite plane, you just couldn't get a bigger bombload/fuel load in any other plane and still get the job done..
Thanks for the Chat, and good luck with your HHR

Hillbilly Hot Rod 09-17-2006, 03:46 PM What A great time I had.. Sorry everybody that I had to leave so quick after lunch, but I had to get my Wife back for her study class...
It was very nice meeting everybody, and putting a face to a name. I really enjoyed talking with everyone, and seeing there HHR"s and what the have done with them. I will try to figure out how to post the pics, and I will get them out to everybody that was there.
Thanks again for the Meet and Greet, and when is the next one....
Rob

Thanks again for a great meet and greet, and when is the next one...
SIHHR 09-17-2006, 04:30 PM It only took me an hour to get home. I had a great time. Hillbilly Hot Rod it was no big deal that you left. We talked for a bit longer and then everyone left around 3. It was nice to meet everyone. I'm looking foward to the Next Northeast Meet.
jshandra 09-17-2006, 07:00 PM This was a simple and important meet for the North East HHR owners. Not far for many to travel, only an hour away from NW NJ and a great please to meet, greet & eat. I met a great group of people today and exchanged some good ideas, may be we'll see a new part or two come out of this meet. There was a little brain storming going on about future meets and came up with some good ideas, hopefully we'll see some more HHR members out there. I look forward to meeting you guys again, I had a great time. Thanks for taking the time to meet up. Rob, good job with the pics. :thumb:
Applenut 09-18-2006, 09:54 PM We had a great time, I'm still pissed I was late though!! We had a great time and after hearing John's muffler, my wife is "ready" for the IMCO upgrade in October!!! I hope some of the brainstorming at the other end of the table can take flight, that's kinda why we needed this. The burger was good too!! Looking forward to the next event, whatever it may be.:thumb:
