I haven't seen this suggested...

Maybe there could be a way to sort the Members Gallery area by car color?

In looking at everyone's mods, you naturally want to see cars in your own color in order to better judge what looks good for your car. What looks good on a black car doesn't necessarily look good on a white car. For instance- if there was a way I could find all the dark silver HHR gallery pics more quickly that would sure save me some time.

Just a thought for the future...

Another solution might be to create a check in thread for each color HHR and the members could post a link on the appropriate thread to let people know where to view their photos. Some members don't have their photos stored here, but on sites like cardomain.com, photobucket, etc. Maybe make them a sticky so that they are easy to find, either on the pics & media or appearance boards?

Just a thought, and I'm sure others may have other ideas as well.

Well- it's not as if we have 20 colors to choose from.... yet.

I just looked and we don't have any Sticky posts on the Pictures & Media Board, so that might be the best place for them if JonyyB and the mods decide they like this idea.

To cut down on the number of threads, maybe we could combine the Silverstone & Dark Metallic Silver together as Silver, the Sport Red and Victory Red together as Red and the Daytona Blue and new Imperial Blue together as Blue. That would cut the number of check in threads down to 9 once both new colors are available.

Amethyst, Black, Blue, Orange, Red, Sandstone, Silver, Teal and White

We shall await a decision from the powers that be. :bow: :bow: :bow:

There is a way to do it!

Just make sure that when you upload your pics you put the color in as a key word. This can be added later. Then if you're in the gallery you can search for the key word "color" and voila!:thumb:

We might want to agree on some common terms for the colors so that we can get exactly what we're looking for, e.g. VictoryRed vs. SportMetRed, Silverstone vs. DarkSilver.

If each of us does this, it becomes easy:D

One fatal flaw what about 2 toned hhr`s?? would the colors go in alphabetical order by color like 1 amythist 2 blue etc..???

That's a nice setup...but it doesn't separate them by color. It would be nice as an alternative to our photo album set up that we have now though. :thumb:
