View Full Version : Any info on weather eibach has a kit out?? snksknr94 12-07-2005, 01:03 PM I loved the way the eibach pro-kit looked on my Z. Anybody know when Eibach is suppose to have a kit coming out for the HHR? captain howdy 12-07-2005, 01:21 PM There is already two out. They have both pro and sport setups. JoeR 12-07-2005, 01:40 PM I spoke to Eibach last week and they said a newer kit that's better suited to the HHR is due out in early Feb. Also a sway bar kit about the same time. At the rate GM is delivering the HHRs the timing should be good! ;-( snksknr94 12-07-2005, 01:52 PM There is already two out. They have both pro and sport setups. The sportlines were to low for my Camaro,, even with the pro kit my driveshaft loop and torque arm mount hit the ground on most speed bumps and steep driveways. I'll have to look into the pro-kit for the HHR, don't think I'll be able to squeeze a 20 under it with the sport lines. captain howdy 12-07-2005, 01:56 PM When I did my mustang I went with the Mach 1 setup because it only dropped me like a 1/2 an inch to a inch. I never actualy took mesurements but you could tell the difference sitting next to the stock suspension. snksknr94 12-07-2005, 03:50 PM I think I should lower it first, that way I can see how much room I actually do have, so I can choose a set of wheels. captain howdy 12-07-2005, 04:02 PM Wise choice there. I would hate to spend a ton for rims and then find out that there are clearance issues later. snksknr94 12-07-2005, 04:07 PM Wise choice there. I would hate to spend a ton for rims and then find out that there are clearance issues later. I think it is gonna be tight for what I want to do. I may end up doing a mini-tub in the rear. captain howdy 12-07-2005, 04:11 PM Some 10" - 12" wide rims in back would sure look nice. :D  Too bad the HHR isn't RWD. snksknr94 12-07-2005, 04:29 PM Some 10" - 12" wide rims in back would sure look nice. :D  Too bad the HHR isn't RWD. Thats the look I want, like a 295 in the rear with a deep wheel that has a bright chrome or polished lip. No way I'm going to be able to pull that off, but a 245 may fit. captain howdy 12-07-2005, 04:47 PM Sounds like a plan to me. I love wide rear rims! :D What diameter rims are you thinking? I know you mentioned 20"s. I myself wouldn't go past a 18" but everyone has different ideas on what rims look good on the vehicle. SIHHR 12-07-2005, 05:28 PM Is it worst to have the car lowered for winter? snksknr94 12-08-2005, 05:35 PM Is it worst to have the car lowered for winter? I don't think so, but my opinion is kinda biased. I live in AZ, when most people are puuting their nice cars away for the winter, we are just taking ours out. I could keep my car kept in the gagage all winter. I have 2000 Chevy Malabu and a 1998 Dodge Carvan. But If I did not touch it for a few months. What should I expect once its warm? Plus How often should you start the engine while its resting for the winter? |
