Hey I was just wondering how many Bakersfield HHR owners are on this site?

I ask because spring through fall I go to the Sonic Drive-In every Friday night for the local cruise night.

Last Friday I took my HHR out and parked just acrossed the way from the PT guys (some were cool, others weren't). Anyway, I thought it might be cool if us Bakersfield HHR guys make a showing sometime. Maybe even meet somewhere prior then drive in all together.

Just some ideas and testing the waters.

So, what do you think Bakersfield guys?

I can do that! I was going to wait till I got my 34 Ford coupe ready and join some of my hot rod buddies, but the HHR can go anytime. And we can help break up all that red!

Is this the Olive Drive Sonic that you are talking about? I live in the neighborhood behind the Sonic at Stockdale and Allen and we have had some car meets there in the past.

In the meantime, you should be planning to join us on the coast this weekend.

I'd like for us HHR guys to meet up at the Donut shop on the corner of Airport and Roberts at 6pm. This way we can all drive into Sonic together and park next to each other as well.

I saw the thing for the coast run, but I have to attend B-Day party that was scheduled before I even bought my HHR.

No worries, maybe by that Friday (the 22nd) I have my 454 powered Datsun Z car out there too.

Very cool! Welcome to the forum! Too bad I didn't find you earlier. We just got back from a Coast Run up to Monterey this weekend.

Looks like we plan to get all the Bakersfield HHRs together that we can find and go to Sonic on Olive Drive in a couple of weekends.

Hey Songman, Thanks for turning us on to this website! It is pretty cool to find other people in B-town that have the same interest in something and are getting out there and doing stuff! We would love to get involved with some coast cruises or Vegas trips in our HHR. Even just some local meet ups would be cool. Thanks!

Well, I'll be there this Friday, for those of you that can make it, let's change the meeting spot from the Donut shop on Airport & Roberts to the 'Happy Smog' on the opposite corner (still on Airport & Roberts) at 6:00 pm.

I'm glad I got to see your 07, Tikigodz! It was looking all clean and sharp there in the parking lot. I was almost afraid to raise the wiper blade to put the note on it! I wasn't in our HHR or I would have pulled over beside it to take a picture.

I'm out for this weekend, Caleb, but we'll be able to do it next Friday! Hopefully I'll even have running boards and lowering springs on by then!

thinks. we have happy hour every friday after school at maricio's on rosedale.but we do want to do the sonic cruise in . also working on another teacher who owns a hhr to join us.

The sooner you get there, the better parking spot you'll get.
