But now I am deciding on an exhaust tip. I notice most have gone with an oval single chrome or stanless tip. But I was wondering if anyone has tried either a dual tip or resonated tip? I am thinking of going with one of these

or the IRC212

I like the square tip because it goes with the "squarback" look of the rear of the HHR.

I went with a "squared" tip on my 924. I'm with you, the squared look with rolled edges goes with the shape of the HHR. :thumb:

:D I finally got the IMCO installed last Friday! I went with a T-909 though, seems like an easier fit on the LS with the smaller exhaust pipe. Sounds great outside, nice purr, and I couldn't really hear any difference in the cabin while driving. That's what I was most concerned about since my Wife is the one that drives it. She drove it to work Saturday and didn't mention it when she got home. What a relief !! !! I had bought the round stainless tip that the dealer sells back when we got the HHR. Since it cost about $50.00 I wasn't about to toss it out! I just had them put it back on the IMCO!

I know this is a late entry, but had to add to the thread, I have a 2.4 but used my factory tip and extended it out to the edge of the bumper to keep the noise inside to a lower level. Had a Trailblaser with a Flowmaster and this helped with the inside noise a lot.
