I happen to see this movie today it had amazing special effects. If you liked Lord of the Rings, you would like this too. Dont think of it as a kids movie.

Movie Review:
Follows the exploits of the four Pevensie siblings--Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter--in World War II England who enter the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of 'hide and seek' in the rural country home of an elderly professor. Once there, the children discover a charming, peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs, and giants that has become a world cursed to eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Under the guidance of a noble and mystical ruler, the lion Aslan, the children fight to overcome the White Witch's powerful hold over Narnia in a spectacular, climactic battle that will free Narnia from Jadis' icy spell forever.

I was forced to read the books in elementary school. I don't quite remember the details because it was so long ago. All I remeber is they went through a portal in the closet and that there was a prophecy. And something about snow kind of.

We don't have "Wardrobe's" in the US so I don't think it's gonna go over very well.

Perhaps they should rename the US version; "The Lion, The Witch, and the PSP2"

Marketing, boys...

People like to escape from there reality thats why fantasy movies have the possibility to do well. Within you 2 1/2 hours your transported to another world with action, sword fighting, and magic.

If you want to escape reality to a place with wizards, swords, and dragons you could always play D&D. Or you could play a MMORPG like Everquest. Not taking away from fantasy films of course because I love some classics like Krull, The Beastmaster, Excalibur, and The Sword & The Sorcerer.

I used to play D&D when I was a kid. :red: I used to really piss off the DMs I played with so I learned how to DM myself. Then they got revenge on me as players. :D
