Bonnie has the 70's, they fill up the side real nicely!:thumb:

Have you or any one else seen any HHR with the pipes on that were not capped.

They're gonna look great!:thumb:

I am so jealous of the people who can do the lakes! Still tempted to try but everyone says they'll scrape since I lowered it.

Do the 70" look that much better then the 60" on the HHR

I just viewed the Gallery and I seen that the 70" cover the from the Front Mud flps to the rear wheels. They look better then the 60"

I really like that.

Cool

I was told that it should not take lone if I have all the right tooks.
I plan on placing the HHR on all 4 Jack stands and Clamp them on with the Hardware that it comes with. but then again I never done this before, I have a guy accross the house who has a garage with all the Tools and the Know how. Wish me luck but I need to purchase the pipes 1st.

You might wanna rethink using the clamps.

They show when installed and IMO take away from the clean look. We had them done SoCal's way. Just two small squared pieces of metal and welded them on. Didn't take long. Any muffler shop should be able to do it quick and easy. Here's the link (http://www.socalhhr.citymax.com/page/page/3754301.htm)for his install method. I just printed it out and gave them to the shop. $75 bucks and they were on in under an hour.

We just didn't like the look of the bands from the clamps around the pipes.

Okay everyone the 70" pipes came in w/Brackets no Bolts, Lock washers or regular washer. I went to 4 auto places and no one wantes to put them on. 1 Auto place stated 3 hrs to put on at $56.00 an hours. I went to a Car Care Center place and they said $75.00 an Hour is his rate but it should not take that long so he says. If I knew that this would of been such a problem then I might of Spent the money on my Wife and taken her away for the weekend. Little did I know.

My wife is just laughing in side I can see it.

Z I will research and maybe we can do it here, but it would mean you rolling back down on another weekend, but you can stay here and hang out and of course since it is my place there will be food and I am sure that some other guys from the region would come over too...We will be able to get them on and make it right.

Z-Man, I'd print these how-to pics out from SoCal HHR , http://www.socalhhr.citymax.com/page/page/3754301.htm ,and take em to a muffler or body shop. Took them about 90 minutes to install Bonnie's. They gave me the same line of crap too until I showed them the pics. they they wewe like "oh, that's easy".

Just a suggestion.

If I cant get them on, OLDSCHOOL said he will put them on for me for free after the winter is over. My problem is I want them on NOW.

Mike
Just came back from looking again, No luck. I might have to wait till next year.
I might have to drive to Pats house again and put them on there along with the Help from Pat his Son and OLDSCHOOL. They stated that If I can not find any one here then they would put them on for me. I am really getting Pi_ _ _ _ off. I didn't think this would be a big deal. Oh well I'll try again next weekend, Have a nice day, it's been raining very hard out here.
