Since we post so many photos here at ChevyHHR.net, I thought it would be helpful to share links where you store your photos, besides the Photo Gallery here in the forum.

Please provide us with a link to their service and provide us with anything you think we should know. This will help other members to see what is available and get a review of how the person using the service likes how it works.

Right now, I use Photobucket (http://photobucket.com), but it is my understanding that these images could disappear after a time, and I am looking for something more permanent. Don't want to wake up some day and find that all my images are gone online.

My daughter uses Yahoo Photos (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/photos/photos3/uploading/uploading-03.html) and loves it. She can download entire an entire file of photos from her computer to their service instead of doing them one at a time. According to their site, storage is unlimited and free and all they ask is that you log in from time to time.

Let's hear some input from those of you who use online storage. Since we're such a picture crazy bunch of people, I think the more sources we have to store pictures, the better off we are. Look forward to hearing what you guys find works well. Also, if you pay for this storage, please let us know that as well. I know I'm not adverse to that if it means my pictures won't disappear into cyberspace...never to be seen again.

Great idea deb. I only use photobucket when I want to post pictures. I save all of mine on cd's. I keep a pretty good inventory on paper. Always been afraid of losing great memories. I may start using that Yahoo. Thanks for the info!

Just any kind of photos or just HHR photos?

I use a place called Wish Palace to show off my travel photos. They are brand new and only accept travel photos. Of course, I am Songman there as well. Go ahead and sign up and show off your travels!

I keep most of my other photos on my own servers.

My HHR pics are at http://www.fiero-performance.com/hhr/ but they are the same as in my gallery here.

I also use free FileHigh (http://www.filehigh.com/). It does have file size limites and content restrictions though.

Great links folks...keep them coming. I'm bookmarking these sites as we go along and will check each one out as time allows and report back my findings. Thanks for the great stuff...and Songman...those wedding photos are awesome. What a beautiful wedding. :thumb:

Thanks Deb... It was a great day. My scanner at the time got foggy on the inside so those pics are a little rough. Replaced the scanner but never had time to redo the photos. I need to do that I guess.

I use photobucket, 3 accounts with them total. One for here and other stuff, one for family back east to view and the wife has one of her own
