CrazyCramer 12-12-2005, 09:50 PM thank you trying to get some help
snksknr94 12-12-2005, 09:50 PM Nothing out performance-wise. Couple places have lowering kits, and wheels are starting to become more available.
CrazyCramer 12-13-2005, 06:47 PM ya i got the chrome 17's on it but its still not big enought LOL anyone know of some good chips or just plain old like parts that are easy to install and helps with over all feel/power
SoCalHHR 12-13-2005, 06:52 PM Performance parts are still in the testing stages right now.
They are not out yet. Intakes, cat-backs, etc., will alll come in time.
Ya gotta be patient! ;)

There is a header being offered, but I don't know anything about it, I believe a member of this club is selling them you might PM, I can't remember his name, but I believe there is a thread here on the subject, just a little FYI. Welcome to the Club!
Sticky thread in the 2.4 mod, SCydne I believe...

SoCalHHR 12-13-2005, 07:26 PM Just curious? How many miles do you have on yours, and what engine? the HHR's Ecotec engines really seem to "open up" after they break in. You might be surprised! Watch this video: "HHR Highway" (http://www.chevyhhr.net/index.php?page=videos) :D
CrazyCramer 12-13-2005, 08:29 PM hahah ya i sall it was way cool i got lik 1,800 on it soo ya i know what u mean haha i need to break in more. Congrats on the video ill be making one sooon soo look out for it!! lol!!

HisHersHHRs 12-20-2005, 08:43 AM 9800 miles and change ... closing in on 10 grand. From mid September to today ... 12/20/05. WAY to many miles in such a short time but thats the
price of daily paper delivery.
captain howdy 12-20-2005, 08:49 AM How did this thread turn into how many miles you have driven?
SIHHR 12-20-2005, 09:03 AM Go to General Discusion to talk about how many miles have you driven latley. I created a new thread for that. Please stick to rims about this thread. Thanks
CrazyCramer 12-20-2005, 07:42 PM hahah sorry but ya i want to hit up the 20's for my car will they acully fit? or will i have to shave some of it? to make it fit??
ENGLISH FORUM= haha sorry about that but i was wondering about putting 20" inch rims on my HHR with it fit thought?? like I saw it on somone else car but i dont think it would fit? Will i have to shave some of the fender in the steering well?? to make it fit or will it work fine?

snksknr94 12-20-2005, 07:48 PM hahah sorry but ya i want to hit up the 20's for my car will they acully fit? or will i have to shave some of it? to make it fit??
Dude don't take this personally, but could you do us all a favor and proof read before clicking submit. I can't be the only one who can't make sense of your posts. ;)
SoCalHHR 12-20-2005, 07:51 PM Cramer - 20's will fit stock; we have even slid 20's on with our lowering springs installed! No clearance problems at all.
CrazyCramer 12-20-2005, 07:52 PM Redid it for you!
snksknr94 12-20-2005, 07:54 PM Redid it for you!
Thank you, made it a bit clearer. In response to you question, yes 20's will fit.
CrazyCramer 12-20-2005, 07:56 PM Like fine? i wont have to do anything to make it fit?? SWEET!!! What size rims do you have on your car?
SoCalHHR 12-20-2005, 08:22 PM I run 16's on my personal car because I like the smooooooth ride! We have done several with 20;s though and they will fit without any mods - even with our (2") lowering kit installed.
Hope it helps,
snksknr94 12-20-2005, 08:22 PM Like fine? i wont have to do anything to make it fit?? SWEET!!! What size rims do you have on your car?
I'm still waiting on mine to show up. However, it will be getting a set of 20's as soon as I find a set I like.
SIHHR 12-20-2005, 09:29 PM one day I will get 20's. I'm happy with my shinny 17inch ones
captain howdy 12-20-2005, 11:33 PM If i go bigger it will be 18"s, but for now I'm content with 17"s.
SoCalHHR 12-21-2005, 01:02 AM IMO 18's are perfect on the HHR:

20's are much too thin - here's Scosche's:

Everyone has their own idea of what's cool though...
(pics provided by Club HHR) - legal mumbo-jumbo!
Personally I LOVE the ride of my 16's and am hard pressed to give the smooth ride up!
SIHHR 12-21-2005, 08:32 AM I love those 20's
captain howdy 12-21-2005, 08:39 AM But your riding on the rim! There is no tire left.
SIHHR 12-21-2005, 08:52 AM I like it, but I never said I would buy or drive on it. 18's allowes some room right.
captain howdy 12-21-2005, 09:03 AM Yeah they are cool rims. Just a little too big for my taste.
CrazyCramer 12-23-2005, 11:51 PM ya i agree if i went for the 20's they would have to be like alot of rim. None of that skinny rims. Like the nice fat chrome "spokes" i dont know exacly what they are called but somthing that would be very nice and shinny and just plain BIG LOL! thanks for the info guys.
How much of a more bumpyer ride are we talking about with 20's?
captain howdy 12-23-2005, 11:53 PM You have no air to cusion your ride! You might as well put wagon wheels on your HHR. Just dont hit a pot hole! :D http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/amarini/vaderxmas.gif
CrazyCramer 12-24-2005, 05:58 PM hahaha true true!! so ya i guess it does all come down to how you really want your car to ride!
captain howdy 12-24-2005, 06:47 PM I think some 20"s look cool but should stay on show cars. I drive alot so I want to maintain some ride quality. Like I said before, I'm happy with 17"s and I personaly wouldn't go past 18"s. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/amarini/vaderxmas.gif
