How hard are they to install?
I have done lift kits on fullsize chevys, and drop coils on chevys and axle flip kits lo lower, but never rear coils.

Wish you had a how too or pics.

We have only had our HHR a couple weeks and I havent had a chance to crawl under it and look at the suspension.

Spring compressors? They come right out.

No need for compressors; we do it all the time. :thumb:

Thats great, thank you for the link.

I have put lowering coils in my 85 chevy truck before, but the spring compressor I used went thru the middle.....gonna have to see if I can find one like you used.

The instructions didnt say anything about compressors, so i guess you don't need them which is great! Mine didn't move much, so i slaped the compressors on and didn't even think to try and take them out freely.

I gotta call ya on this one!;)

On the first page when the tools needed are listed it say coil spring compressor.

On my instructions, cause i didn't know they could be taken out without them. The actual instructions that come with the kit says nothing about compressors. Maybe i should put their words with my pictures .

Angelo, Just wondering if these are Ground Force or Eibach springs, the reason I ask is you mentioned that the leveling springs will be Ground Force but in the How To you say Eibach.

They are Ground Force and I will make the correction on the how to. Thanks for pointing this out to me. :thumb:
