Ok, As we all know, Today was Howard's last day on public radio. For some of us, This is a sad day. But for others, IT'S PARTAY TIME! Who is going to pay the 12.95 a month to listen to Howard, And who doesn't really care? Or if you can't afford it.

I want to get Sirius but I don't listen to the radio enough to pay. I'll probably break down and get it anyway though. :)

Where I work there is a no radio policy so I can't listen to him anyways. Otherwise yes.

That's why I didn't order XM with my HHR. Now I'm waiting for Kuda or Proclip to hurry up and come up with an accessory mount for the HHR's dash, so I won't have to drill any holes for my Sirius receiver.

DJNateGnau
12-16-2005, 03:13 PM
You don't have to drill, Get some stick'um pads, and stick the Sirius Mount on it.

I could care less about Howard Stern, or Bubba, or whatever he prefers to call himself now days. Have you guys heard about Bubba going with Howard? Do you even know who that is???

If not Bubba the FAT A$$ love sponge, is a pig, he has been a local radio personality in Tampa for some time now. He got a huge fine for something and he also slaughtered a pig live on the air! He has tried running for Pinellas County Sheriff for several years but he never makes it. LOL! The whole town should suffer if we had a sheriff like him. I have the grusome pleasure of meeting him once and since then I HATE him. I know that I am very well endowed, and when I met him that is all he could talk about, and he was on the air! Made me feel like slapping him!

captain howdy

he also slaughtered a pig live on the air!

Glad I don't live down south! Just kidding! :D Thats horrible! I can't believe somebody would slaughter an animal just for ratings. Does he have a huge local following? Our local radio celebrity is Brother Wease. Quite a few years back Him and Howard had this huge feud. The were dissing each other back and forth on the radio for a while. I kind of lost some respect for Howard because he hit Wease way below the belt. Weases son in mentally handicapped, Howard was on the radio calling Weases son a retard and making all types of jokes about it. That is just low! A person can make fun of me and pick on me all they want but you better not involve my kids! Thats reason alone to be knocked in the c**k sucker! If I were Wease I would have hunted Howard down and kicked his a** within inches of his life. Howard also hit pretty low with his coments on Weases cancer. Howard makes me laugh but sometimes he can be a complete a**hole.

Slaughtered a pig on air??? Damn! That's disturbing. He needs to have his license revoked. I'm gonna have a show, But Mine won't be anything like that. Slaughtering a pig....  Though it's genius. Ratings out the ass. How he got that twisted, Sinister sh** there.

yawn...so does the mean the "Howard Stern media blitz" is over...there is not one more overhyped person in media than him...good riddance...btw the side note to this is that Sirius is losing a lot of money on him and still not bridging the gap between them and XM..

I was never a big Stern fan. If you listened to one episode you've heard them all, theres only so much strippers and show me your boobs I can take.

Yes, It's true A PIG, on air! I could not believe it! They did fire him, but what good is that when another radio station will pick him up. Bubba has a very BIG following with the people who listen to 98 ROCK, but he is just a big fat PIG himself! So if Howard is taking him with him I WILL NOT listen to them!

SIHHR
12-17-2005, 08:14 PM
Howard was not fired. He had a contract that was going to expire and did not want to renew it with infinity. Sirius knew he wanted out and offered him a 5 year contract worth 500 million. Its funny he had a divorce a few years ago and he allowed his wife to get whatever she wanted becasue he knew he would of lost half his worth. Yet now he did this major deal. She could of gotten 250 Million if she was still with him now. Thats why it would be dumb if he were to ever get married again. The largest Divorce settlement in US History was 1.8 Billion dollars. (Not Howard or his ex) Who was the couple?

Rupert and Anna Murdoch? That was $1.7 billion?

SIHHR
12-18-2005, 10:40 AM
Since it would take time for you all to figure out the correct answer. I spill the beans.

Does the Owner of Fox mean anything. Murdoch had a 1.7 Billion settlement with his ex wife

Howard sucks!! I think Opie and Anthony on XM Radio 202 are the TRUE pioneers of Satelite Radio. Howard is such a whining little baby, I got tired of listening to him, and then I got XM, and everything was ok!
O&A PARTY ROCKS!!

I'm not sure what I should do. At first I was not going to renew my XM becasue I thought I was going to work in Manhattan, then I got a new job in jersey instead. Which means I will need something to listen to going to work in the am. I could either re-activate the XM. Or I can get one of those Sirius boxes that I can attach to the car. I'm not sure what I should do. I might have to take up your offer crazybob and do both.

Mavrik_HHR

I too have XM radio and would never switch over to Sirius to listen to a guy that I have never liked.....I never listened to Howard when He was on free radio ,Just boggles my mind that a Radio Personality is making 600 million over 5 yrs....He's maybe worth 100,000 a yr. just my opinion though........

I listened to Howard when he was on public radio Eagle 97 in Dallas off and on.... a lil bit of Howard went a long way with me back then. I think he's gone over the edge at this point (jus my two cents) As for his wife leaving him, I don't think money was her objective. I'm guessing she just wanted out and away....

I have been an XM listner since 03. I would much rather listen to Opie & Anthony on XM202 than Howard any time. I listen at my desk at work when i'm not deployed. I have sirius on my dish network at home and haven't bothered to see if howard's channel is on there. BTW there are new channels coming out on XM 15 April, wonder if I'll listen to any of them? :p:
