Is there any way we can setup the text height to be bigger without having to go to [SIZE="2")(/SIZE] everytime?

I checked my user CP but I didnt see any options for text height default.

Thanks

JB

Are you referring the text when you make posts? If you actually click the "post reply" button there is a greater range of options to edit your text than in the quick reply. If this isnt what you were referring to my apologizes for assuming.

yes thats what Im referring too, Its just annoying to have to "go advanced" and highlight the text and select size every time.

I used to be an Admin for 5 years at fullsizechevy.com and we went from 200 members to over 50,000 so Im familiar with vbulletin

Your options are only available when you post or reply. You have to use the pull down menu to change.

Okay, I thought maybe you could change the default in your setup to benefit us all. This forum has THEE smallest text height on any forum I have ever seen in my life.

From what I have seen visiting other forums, the text height here is the same as the other forums where I belong. I have always been taught that using larger than standard forum text and/or caps is considered shouting and is frowned upon in some forums. Other down side I see to that is posts taking up too much space on one page.

I've been here almost 6 months and never heard anyone complain about text size, so I would venture to say that the majority are happy with it. If they weren't...I'm sure we would have heard about it by now.

Hey, if anyone wants to shout, that's okay with me. I'll just turn the hearing aids off!

Another option, on a Windows system, I believe you can make some settings changes on your computer to make text appear larger. In your systems settings/control panel/display/appearance/font
I'm sure there are other ways (paths) to go the same thing.
This will effect everything displayed on your monitor though.

Judging by Sindy's avatar, she's not having problems reading text :rof:

JB1, you may already know this, or it may not work with your monitor, but if you change the resolution of the monitor to a lower resolution it makes everything bigger, including the type. I do that on mine from time to time when i find myself straining with my bi-focals... ;)

Okay good...because I wasnt trying to offend anyone...sometimes the keyboard and I dont get along :D

I know I can adjust resolution and change different things on my PC, but that will ruin everything else I visit...from ebay to fullsizechevy.com, performancetrucks.net, gmfullsize.com, ls1tech.com and many many others.

Ill just learn to live with it although I am surprised Im the only one that feels this way
