I have SoCal's stubby and have noticed NO dropoff in reception.

To be honest, I have the 6" black stubbie on my HHR right now, and it does have some static(depending on which station). We recommend the 9" stubbie if reception is a concern. It is still under half the size of the factory antenna, looks much nicer, and has better reception than the 6" stubbie.

Does this antenna have any effect on XM radio reception?

We are located in the "boonies" (SE Oklahoma) so the signals may be weak in our area as our local station comes in fine. If anyone buys one of our stubbies and is not satisified, it can be returned one week from delivery date. Money will be reimbursed in full, and I will sending a shipping label via email or snail mail so all you have to do is drop it off at a UPS store/center.

I am 99% sure it has no effect on the XM reception as XM and FM do not share the antenna. I do not have the factory XM setup so I can not tell you for sure.

I can tell you 100% sure. If you have factory xm its antenna is the black square on the roof near the rear.

I have the XL muffler on the HHR right now and it sounds good. I need a cheap device to record the sound to, so i can post it up for you all.

Mermory-X: You need to make the Car show this Saturday at McIntosh County Fair grounds in Eufaula. Plus a Chili State Champion Cook Off. And some other cool stuff.
Will have some HHRs from OKC and other areas.
Come on down.

If you have a palm pilot or a PC they both have voice recording on them and you can adjust the level's. Either that of if your cell phone has voice notes record the sound then send it via email and upload it

I still plan on attending. Where is the Fair Grounds located ? And what time do you think everyone will show up ? Be nice to have all the HHRs together .
