OK, I'm looking for ideas on running the control wires from the lights to the inside. I'm thinking of running them up through the parking break area, then mounting control on drivers side. Any ideas? Or pics?

Here is an easy way to run wires through the firewall. http://defrangeautocrafts.com/howtorelay.html

If you need a hand let me know. I can get under there without having to jack the car up!

If I have a R.C. with the lights, I don't need to run the control inside..do I? Should just power/ground it, and good to go :thumb:

Not any time soon. We just don't have that many requests for them.

There are plenty of places selling them already as well.

We tend to specialize in "HHR specific" parts. :thumb:

Sorry! :(

Trying to convince the boss we need them. She thinks the shades are ugly.

There was a show on DIY where the host installed a flexible lighting kit on a Mitsubishi or some-other type of rice rocket. He ran the lights under the car (down the sides) and in the grill. The grill lights he curved to make a spade-shape.

This is the link to that episode.

Just a note: I had to replace a light tube cause of the snow storm in December. I had a LOT of questions about how to get from the "outside to the inside"...the firewall of course! I could never find a good way to do it...till yesterday . Behind the brake peddle there is a rubber boot, remove the boot by sliding it up. Using a shop light over the fuse box you can see the light :thumb: fish the wires through.. I'm such a DORK :red:
