Hey all, I was just thinking that with the weather gonna be like they are predicting, how about having "The Dirty HHR Award"!

Someone could pick up a really tacky trophy to give to the person with the best dirt! Gotta be natural none of that store bought stuff!!

We are actually doing a run this weekend in Illinois and the weather is supposed to be 50'ish and 70% chance of rain! Hence, we are thinking of offering up the Dirty HHR award since the weather will not be co-operating with us to have nice, shiny, squeaky-clean cars!

Mine doesn't get to be dirty for more than a day (unless the weather is crappy!) either~!

Ok now I'm torn. I was going to clean up the HHR after my dentist appointment tommorrow before I head that way, but if there is a trophy for the dirtiest HHR that will be my only shot at a trophy, unless there is one for the most stock HHR :lol: . I know I won't be able to handle it being dirty, so it will be cleaned before I go. how dirty is it from there is up to mother nature, although I am bring all my claening supplies :D .

Mike, why don't you see if you can find some cheap, tacky looking trophy? It'll be fun~the only trophy at this run though so don't everybody be out dirtying up their rides now!

I've been thinking about this and this could be a cool tradition.:lol:

There's always gonna be some people who show up who didn't have a chance to wash their car, so why not have a "The Dirty HHR Award" at each event. We could just go to a thrift store before each event or get a trophy shop reject and give the trophy away.

No need for engraving, a hunk of duct tape and a Sharpie would do the trick!:roflol:

But I think it shouldn't just be the dirtiest, but the best dirt.:nuts:

I don't know Mike! I mean, showing up at an HHR run/g2g without washing your car would be like forgetting to put on clean underwear!

Its gonna happen, it did at Peoria.

But yeah, people gave me a hard time cause I didn't use tire cleaner. Most will but when ya got a long way to drive, sometimes the road, bugs and other stuff happens and ya ain't got time to get it cleaned up again!

I would, like, hide around the block or something first! LOL Serious note~we are going to have sooooo much fun! Rain (that's a given), cold (that too), great food (yeah Z), wet HHR's (oh well) but best of all SUPER COMPANY!!!
