Greetings all. I just wanted to introduce myself. My wife and I purchased our '06 HHR 2LT a couple of weeks ago. I found this site while looking for mod ideas and I liked what I saw. After lurking for a bit, I became a premium member today. Once I get up to speed, I hope to be an active participant in the discussions.

Congrads on your new :hhr: and welcome to the forums. By the way you may want to post photos real soon, this group likes to see what other have :thumb: :one:
Welcome aboard!!!!
How about joining us at Dan's for his g2g on Nov 11? I will be at Disney that weekend and will be driving over. Lots of ideas happening over there!! At his last g2g, my wife was really amazed at how different all the HHRs were (there were six of them there). We could even caravan over there!
Here are directions to his place. Hopefully you can join us!!
If your coming from the Tampa area jump on I-4 toward Orlando. From there you need to get onto 417 (still heading toward Orlando). Stay on 417 until you see the Beach Line exit (also called 528 and the B-Line), take the Beach line exit heading east. About 15 miles or so after the toll booth you will see an exit from the left lane (very odd) onto 407, take this exit. In a couple miles you will come to an exit that will put you on I-95 north. Jump on I-95 here and folow the directions above for those coming from I-95 south.

Thanks for all of the kind welcomes - it's a bit overwhelming! (In a nice way, of course.) I've posted photos in the Silver HHR thread. I'll update once some of the mods are done.
Since y'all have been so nice, I'll tell you a little more about me. I am 33, married (Katherine) and have an 18-month old daughter (Lucy) and another due in April. I work at the University of Central Florida. I've been in Florida for almost three years. I am originally from Flint, Michigan, and have GM flowing through my veins. The HHR is a replacement for my leased '05 Malibu Maxx (wonderful car, I miss it). We are having a lot of fun with the HHR and it looks like we have the same HHR likes/dislikes as many here. Our other car is '05 Buick Rendezvous (same color as HHR) - because sometimes you need to carry 6 people and their stuff.
Again, thanks for the wonderful welcome. I am looking forward to getting to know you all.
