View Full Version : Flamin' HHR Mods
Flamin'HHR 10-24-2006, 09:54 PM We're done "lurking" (as one friend termed it) and we are ready to post pictures of our car and its mods. We finished the two big mods last week: 1) the embroidered door panel inserts and 2) the steel Chevy Rallye wheels. We waited months for the wheels while they were being prototyped. It was worth the wait!! :thumb: These wheels are the very first set to have been manufactured.
P.S. Here's the pictures, Andy. Thanks for the flames!

When we ordered our HHR we wanted it with cloth seats, because I already had ideas for mods for the car before we had it. I have always had old classic cars that have cloth inserts in the door panels. The material in the HHR seats gave me the idea for door inserts. We had to order the material from GM. It is the factory seat material. My wife is a graphic artist. She made the logo and digitizd it, then we had it embroidered at her work place. I took all the door panels apart and had a custom apholstery friend stretch and glue them on the door panel pieces. It was alot of work, but it was well worth it. We plan on doing the headrests next!
RatRodS 11-28-2006, 08:56 PM Are the wheels from Stockton?
