Hello everyone,

the gtg today was a ton of fun for me! :thumb: I had a blast and got a ride in 2 cool HHRs! Thanks Karen and Teresa for the rides:bow: Love the CGS and the Exhaust ! Got to get it;) Be sure to post pics and comments about the trip in here! Hope to meet up this summer agian:thumb:

What about the pics your dad took?
Well the meeting went without any hitches.
Left Tampa at 8:30a, got to Sarasota to pick up Don and Linda.
jx3 joined us an exit or two before the exit that we needed.
Found the place.
Met 06, 06's Dad, Mom, and Aunt from Miami.
All hoods went up, all now have lower grill protection, thanks to jx3.
Engines started, Doors all opened and insides inspected.
Moved the HHR's in a fan with the twins on the outside, and Gambler in the center. Glad no more Blues showed up.
Car talked before and after the move. Every one was looking at each others.
06 rec for an early Xmas present and the following surprises:

It's funny how no one mentioned that the odd-ball-out (the Camaro) didn't make it.

I was going to say something but dident want to make you feel bad about dieing in the middle of a freeway!

I will say this though, what a rush that was. In the fast lane and all you hear is the uber loudness of the engine and the faint sounds of whatever Europe song happened to be playing an then all of a sudden, silence. Then the horn of the semi behind me. I had to take evasive action and I pulled a hard left then locked the brakes up and spun into the grass in the median. Then I sat there for 6 hours waiting for my wife to find me. Nobody stopped for me.

I was hard pushing his car onto the trailer and then pulling out into on-coming traffic to go. I would of just went out the other side but a guard rail was there.

Yeah I got a little scratch, ok big scratch and small dent, on my back bumper because I hit the guardrail.

Should have just towed the Maro down here! lol

Yeah with 9 miles to the gallon on the Suburban with another car attached to the back? You gonna pay for the gas?

we paid for lunch tho

The gas would of cost more.

Holy sh*t. I swear to God you look just like I did when I was 17. The only difference between then and now is I grew my hair out long.

Yeah I just thought of it, I would park the Camaro, and have all the HHR's pull right up to it. Then everybody would lean on or sit on my car.

Jay would be leaning against the front bumber.

Don sitting on the front quarter panel.

Gambler leaning on the top part of the hood.

Karen leaning against the rear side window.

Thereasa would sit on the trunk.

And 06 would have the special treat of being in the driver's seat.

As for me? I would be sitting in the passenger side window so my head goes above the top of the car.

Anybody else who wants to be in the picture could sit on the ground infront of it.

Damn I wish my engine didn't fail. Maybe at the summer run.

Well I got the "new" LS7 installed in the 'Maro, equipped with 2 turbo chargers and air cleaning system. Almost twice the horsepower as before. And this time, I had already broken it in. Left it on an engine dyno doing the equalivalent of 50 mph for 6 hours. Took it for a drive around the neighborhood too. Runs great, sounds better. I sure hope I didn't scare that lady that much.

cool so if we meet up this summer you should be ready.

Yeah thats right, I said it, 764 horsepower from a twin-turbo LS7. A little less then expected huh? Well thats because I have taken the turbos off and replaced with the supercharger that I had originally. I guess I forgot to mention that.

Hit 122 on some back road in Chesterfield today.
