I spoke at length with a vendor the other day about making us an adjustable coil over kit. This kit would include new adjustable spring struts for the front, and new springs on an adjustable bottom perch in back.
KW currently sells a kit like this for $1600-1800. Our kit would sell at around $899. That's still quite a chunk of change; - but you are actually getting a) new custom struts and b) full height adjustability all around. Quite a feature compared to a fixed height drop spring kit that may or may not hit the mark of where you want your ride to sit.
Building a kit such as this will take a large monetary outlay, and we want to test the waters a bit to see what the demand might be.
So, - vote now:
YES! - I would pay $899 for an adjustable coil-over setup.
NO! - There's no way I would spend that much on suspension.
*Please keep in mind, getting 12 yes's isn't going to cut it. In fact, it will take hundreds of yes's yo justify the tooling outlay. We just want to hear from the owners on it. Comments are welcome along with your votes.
