Thanks folks...appreciate the compliments. One of the coolest thing about the mods I have done to the car, is that I did them myself...with some assistance and words of encouragement from fellow HHR owners. I have learned to go where I have never been before. I never would have imagined in a million years that I would be modifying a brand new car...let alone doing much of it with my own two hands.

Kudos to everyone who has supported me and the addiction I have acquired when it comes to my HHR "Smoke".

Thank you guys for selecting me as the first featured HHR of 2007. This is a great forum and the competition was pretty stiff this month, so I am even more pleased. Smoke was up against some of the finest looking HHR's here on the forum.

Best of luck to all the other great HHR's here on being selected in the coming months. Thanks again...I am truly honored to be selected.

Congrats, Deb - I've always liked the way your car looks, especially those cool rims! BTW, did you customize the grill yourself, or did you get that some place? That looks great! :thumb:

Thanks PhxHHR for the compliments. I fell in love with the American Casino Racing wheels when I saw them and just knew I had to have them. The grille I have was modified by CJ and it looks great on the car. I have gotten a ton of compliments on it, even from the dealers where I have stopped. Said they didn't know those were available for the HHR.

Thanks again all...I'm pretty proud of Smoke and how he has evolved over the past year. The color matched intake and grille really added some nice effects to the car.

Thanks PhxHHR for providing the info above.

Hello 'rmozo'...I may be mistaken, but I think the vintage Chevrolet script can be found on ebay. Also, the grille is custom done by another member of this site, and I believe it can also be purchased on ebay from time to time...

The chrome script I got from a guy on eBay. His total price including shipping is $24.49 and Danchuk's is $21.95 plus shipping and they don't tell you how much that is. Mine was very well packaged and came quickly and the guy has 98 of them on his auction now, which is HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200030651482).

The 3 bar grill on the car was customized by a fellow HHR owner who lives in Texas. If you'd like to see more mods and a closer photos of the grille, please feel free to visit the links in my sig...there's a good closeup of it on my HHR site. I even have a nice powerpoint presentation, complete with music that I put together a few months back as well.
