You're gonna love it! It made a BIG difference in how mine handled!
Applenut 02-24-2007, 11:45 AM You're gonna love it! It made a BIG difference in how mine handled!
So I've read, do you have one on HHRMOM too?
GDZHHR 02-24-2007, 12:20 PM Not yet. Don't know if we will. She's an 2LT so her suspension is already better than mine, plus she doesn't care that much. May do it anyway though. It only takes about 10 minutes to put on. Backed up on ramps, a trusty torque wrench and done!
ChevyGrlAlways 02-24-2007, 12:27 PM i bought a few little things
SoCalHHR 02-24-2007, 12:38 PM We appreciate it, everyone! This has already knocked a dent in the inventory, our move will be much easier!
Right now some big things left we need to lose:
New Stull Grilles (http://www.socalhhrs.com/catalog/item/2608356/3487538.htm) (4 left)
Lake Pipes (http://www.socalhhrs.com/catalog/item/2608356/2216528.htm) (all styles)
CGS Intakes (http://www.socalhhrs.com/catalog/item/2608356/3699255.htm)
Sway Bars (http://www.socalhhrs.com/catalog/item/2608356/2625279.htm) (8 left)
Moving those items now will really help us during the transfer - and you won't see these low prices again!
Thanks! :thumb:

D'oh, I just got an excuse to buy a torque wrench!
GDZHHR 02-24-2007, 01:49 PM D'oh, I just got an excuse to buy a torque wrench!
I borrowed one from autozone. Basically, you buy it with the understanding that it will be returned. I just don't have much need for one.
eat_world 02-24-2007, 02:25 PM D'oh, I just got an excuse to buy a torque wrench!
I got one if you need it.
Applenut 02-24-2007, 02:28 PM I got one if you need it.

What size are the bolts?
Applenut 02-24-2007, 02:41 PM What size are the bolts?
15mm, which ironically is the same size as the wiper arm bolts.

Applenut 02-26-2007, 11:22 PM Wow.
I ordered a Progress anti-sway bar on Saturday around 11am EST, it's HERE!!!! ON MONDAY!!!!! Who do you know at the post office!!!!!:thumb:
SoCalHHR 02-26-2007, 11:55 PM Wow.... Who do you know at the post office!!!!!:thumb:
Answer: EVERYONE!
betterof2evils4 02-27-2007, 09:01 AM I'm still debating on whether to buy the CGS intake or the anti-sway bar. On one hand, the extra power would be awesome. On the other hand, it gets very windy out here in Oklahoma, especially this time of year.
Hmm.... would you go for "WOOHOO!!" or "Alright, I'm not gonna die"?
Hmm.... would you go for "WOOHOO!!" or "Alright, I'm not gonna die"?
I'm saving up for the latter. Wonder how much better it would handle in a hurricane.
Hays Hot Rod 02-27-2007, 03:32 PM Well I bit the bullet and now my HHR has a CGS intake on it. WOOT!!!!! It sounds like I put a bigger motor in it now. Was amazed that I ordered it on Fri. afternoon and it was waiting for me when I got home. (yes it was on and test driven before 7pm). Thanks Mike for being so quick.
the_shmoo 02-27-2007, 03:51 PM Best mods I have done are the sway bar and the CGS intake. The delivery to Canada is awesome, here in a week right to the door. Thanx Mike from SoCal.:thumb:
Just waiting for my 2 Pc Bra. Other mods are 3 pc stubby antenae and smoothie door lock knobs.
SoCalHHR 02-28-2007, 01:50 PM Thanks guys & gals! Sorry I haven't been around lately - SWAMPED with the move! The BIG truck shows up tomorrow, and we have to be ready. :red:
I will most likely be very busy during the next two weeks, so if anyone needs to contact me, please go through our website's contact emails.
Thanks!
Nazramoth 02-28-2007, 02:15 PM Just got the Vent Visors (http://www.socalhhrs.com/catalog/item/2608356/3339492.htm) and "Stubby" Attenna (http://www.socalhhrs.com/catalog/item/2608356/2232004.htm) for my HHR. they look great!
SoCal shipped them fast; AND shipped them to the address where I wanted them shipped too... dispite the fact that PayPal would only select my billing address for shipping. Pay Pal is very picky about that stuff.
Got them installed yet?
Why not?
Only 5 minutes mod for both!
LET'S SEE PICS !!!!
:red: (Sorry, don't want to hijack this thread. Make sure to start a new thread w/ your pics)

I don't think he'd mind the publicity. ;)
As for installing them; yes... and it was quicker then 5 minutes!
I'll post some pics somewhere... soon. Though after I'v finished with my HHR as I have some other plans for it; which isn't easy when working on a budget... which, brings me right back full circle to the original topic of this thread!
SoCal's little Moving Sale has some great deals! I probably wouldn't have bought those items that I bought, because of my budget... if he hadn't put them on Sale!
I'll post some pics somewhere... soon. Though after I'v finished with my HHR as I have some other plans for it
You should takes pics as you go. This way you can see how your baby grows.
HillsdaleHHR 03-02-2007, 02:36 PM Didn't order anything big but ordered on Wednesday and package just arrived. All the while you're moving. You guys are GOOOOD! :thumb:
Black Rose 03-06-2007, 10:18 AM I am really impressed with the shipping from SoCalHHR.
It goes out by USPS Air Mail to Canada, and both orders I have made so far got here in 1 week from the shipping date. That is good for international deliveries.
But I did make one serious mistake on my order....I forgot to ask Mike to send some of that nice California weather this way
It's a balmy -24C/-12F right now (-38C/-36F with the windchill) :(

Yeah, tried it. But was not to MY LIKING. Also, tried it on shiney chrome to attempt a "black chrome" effect......not up to par either.
I still have a case (6 cans) of it. ......I'll let it go for $5.00 a can plus shipping, if you're interested.
Desert Coyote 03-12-2007, 02:57 PM SoCal's reputation for quick delivery has now been personally witnessed by myself. Thanks, Mike!
