:red: The fit on the antenna bezel on this first shipment is not the fit that we advertised or that we want. I contacted the company this morning concerning the problem. They are going to modify the part for the correct fit. When I get in the new Antenna bezels everyone that purchased from Race and Street will be sent a new one. Please do not send the part back to us. Please be patient while we are fixing the problem. I will let you know when the new ones arrive and I am shipping them out.

The antenna bezel is being retooled. The base needs to be longer. I will pry have them within a few weeks. I have not forgot anyone on this issue. Please be patient.

If you look at it, you'll see that this is one of the originals. Doesn't fit well. Our vendor isn't the only one selling these. She's just the only one I know of who has stopped until they are right!

Here's a product idea/suggestion that I'd LOVE to see designed by Autotecnica...

If you have any connections with their design team... How about a chrome finished overlay for the front and rear Chevy bowtie on the front and back of the HHR... I guarantee you'll have no trouble selling the heck out of those to cover the gold plastic bowties in the factory HHRs...

It's my understanding that they had to be retooled and that it takes time for that to get done. I'm sure she wants to make sure it's perfect before they go out this time. I'm sure an email or phone call would get the question answered in a heartbeat. :thumb:

I think she's been pretty regular with the updates. She does have a business to run and only a small part of it is HHR's.

As Deb said, PMing or emailing her would be the best way of getting your question answered.

As I said...I'm sure it takes time. I work at Ball Corporation and one of the many things we do is to design metal and plastic containers and lids for them and it takes a great deal of time to make sure they are perfect before they go into production. I'm sure that they are providing her with prototypes and trying to get them perfect this time. Like I said...she's only a phone call or an email away. ;)

Maggie and the staff of Race and Street stand by their word. Just give them time to get the product perfected to fit the HHR.

I've been dealing with them for years in the past and never had an ounce of problems. Even with a defective taillight that was defective from the manufacturer, Maggie shipped a replacement as soon as it was available.

I have NOT REFUSED to speak to anyone over the antenna bezel replacement. As soon as I get them in I will let everyone know & will ship them out that day. If by chance you think I have the new bezels and are NOT replacing the defective ones PLEASE call Autotecnica (World Class Suppliers) They will let you know that am telling you the truth. FYI I am replacing and shipping these bezels are Race and Street's expense. Race and Street is not happy with the fit. I see others out there are still selling the bezels AS IS. If you want a bezel REAL quick I can get you one, but it is going to be the same thing you have right now.

I received this email from Darla one of the owners at Autotecnica (WCS) on the Antenna Bezel. Jeff is her husband the other owner. Message below:
We received the sample last week, went and test fit it. The fit was perfect. Jeff gave them the go a head last week. So, should be real soon. No word yet on a finish date, but should not be to much longer. Jeff told them he wanted some sent by air as soon as they are done.

I am trying my best to keep you up to date on this situation. If you are tired of waiting PLEASE call me at 888-826-1394 and cancel the order you have placed or get a refund on the one that you received . I do not want the bad one back . If I do not hear from you I will send replacements out when I get these in.
