i have been around cars and worked on cars my whole life mostley old cars which dont have computers. One question that i always wondered was, do the performance chips really work? has anyone tried one in their ?HHR

However there is, as of yet, no chip option for the 2.2 engines. We are all still waiting. If you want to know check the 2.4 performance forum and look for the posts there. I had mine done by Matt @ Tune Time, one of the supporting vendors here, and the difference is amazing!! GM has not put Chips in cars since 1996, You will have to purchase what they call a Programmer and Down load the Solfware and then Up Load the New Solfware in order to get more HP. The Cost is between $350.00- $450.00 and it takes about 1 Hr to do. I hope this helps you.
