Mike,

Congrats for all the work that you and Kenny have done!!

At this point my biggest concern is what the noise levels are inside the car. I could care less about outside. As long as the sound level is not apparent while under normal cruising, that's fine.

Any input on this issue? Thanks!!

Definitely Joe; the IMCO turbo muffler ia just "slightly" audible under normal driving conditions. When you "put your foot into it" the sound is heard, but not very loudly. Most importantly, there is NEVER a loud resonance inside the car at ANY rpm, unlike many "rice racing" mufflers.

To recap; the IMCO Turbo muffler we picked is a "standard replacement" oval turbo style muffler designed to retrofit to a stock vehicle. It just happens to be a great match for the HHR in both tone and engine response.

I am getting mine installed tomorrow. Perhaps on the way home I can record some clips cruising on the freeway at 60, 70, & 80. I will also record an interior accelleration clip for you then.

Thanks for your input.

Sounds good. What engine is it on?

Just wondering, but did Y'all do any 0-60 times while you were there? Actually, watching the video, the HHR seems to be pretty peppy. Meanwhile, all I can do is watch and listen. Mine has been ordered for a couple of weeks but they still don't have the VIN yet.

Hi Guys! Yes, both HHR's are auto's and - yes, they are very peppy! We haven't been able to get any actual times yet, but if anyone has a G-Tech Pro SS meter they want to loan me, we can get some exact figures on HP and times. Any takers?

I got one you can borrow. I would drive by with it but CA is kind of a long trip to make on a weekend.

That's was very good work SoCal, just another impressive step in becoming the leader in HHR performance parts and accessories. The video almost reminded me of the movie "Vanishing Point". I definitely have the itchy finger to start buying mods, but I promised Lady Fenrir that I would wait until Spring....I liked what I heard and I guess I just have to sit and wait...dang level-headed woman..lol..
