View Full Version : Find the HHR Contest II Portland Or
TomsHHR 03-26-2007, 08:18 PM Ok, here we go again. Find the HHR contest hits Portland OR.
TomsHHR "The Deer Slayer" will send out my Certificate for 2 free go-kart rides collectable at the Wisconsin Dells Run.
Items to show this time that you have spotted The HHR, and/or Tom.
2 items will verify you spotted the HHR. Post the picture and you need to submit the model through this thread. Any of the other items will be tie breakers.
Picture of the HHR with the plate showing.
Model: LS, 1LT or 2LT.
Tie breakers:
Leave a card on the window for me.
State the type of interior in the car.
Trim package.
What shows on the paper sticking out of the dash compartment.
Clue 1. The HHR is a Summet White, It will be parked close to I-84 at my Motel after 6PM, unless I am at dinner and 6:00 am.
It is in a secured area during the day and unable to be seen so the best time for a cruise to spot it is in the evening.
I will post a new clue each day until Friday. if it is not found the information will be posted at 11:00 pm Friday. Any guess after that posting will be void.
If you identify the HHR, but will not be able to go to the run, I could suggest an alternate item of getting together and I will supply the appetizers. Or you could raffle the tickets to people that are able to attend. So you still win..
Good Luck
The Deer Slayer

TomsHHR 03-26-2007, 08:34 PM I was thinking of you Sindy, Had to wait for them to wash that HHR, then had a gal come up and tell me it was hers!!.... bigallis1 03-31-2007, 10:00 AM Tom, will western new york state possibly be on your list someday? If it is, maybe I will own one by then.
scaleguy 03-31-2007, 10:45 AM Toms your contest has been an excellent idea...see your pm when you have time...Pat
TomsHHR 04-01-2007, 09:02 AM Well Back home again, Just a word for traveling people that fly, Never plan to be at your destination on time, my last 2 trips put me at 75% delays, getting bused to MSP airport, 10 hour delay at Salt Lake city with a 100% delay factor for that trip with lost luggage. Fog in the spring time plays havoc on plans.
Trust me when I say for the last 7 years of my business trips, if you plan on being there. Plan to leave the day prior to that.
I found out Friday that my Roseburg trip is changing to Salt Lake City for now, so Salt Lake City is going to get 2 more chances to "Find The HHR".
I am looking into some alternate prizes other than the Go-Kart ride tickets I am giving and will discuss that with our Boogie Bay run committee. I will also discuss the expanding of this contest through some of the owners, It could even be if you travel and have a HHR as a rental, so you could hold a Find my HHR Contest where you are located. This way more of these contests can be held in an area closer to the others and get more participation.
So watch for a "Find my HHR Contest" and win a Entry, Tee Shirt or what ever else we try that will be associated for the Boogie Bay Run.
Happy HHR Finding......
