Howdy All....just sitting in triage at Winnie Palmer hospital. They are going to induce my wife in a few minutes to speed up the arrival of daughter #2, Lily Grace...we're just trying to keep occupied (we've been here for 8 and a half hours now).

You know you're an HHR addict when you're posting to your hhr.net friends while your wife is getting ready to have a baby. :lol:

ahhh 8 hours is no biggie my wife went in on thursday to be induced she didnt deliver till sunday in the AM soooo just relax and wait for her good luck congrats

My wife was in labor for 27 hours, so I know what your going through. I was going crazy! Best of luck to you.

My mother was in labour for 32 hours.

That's why I am an only child :lol:

Hang in there bud. Just dont lose foucus like I did on my first one. After 30 hours they finally took my wife into delivery. After about 1 hour the Nurse came into the waiting room with myself and my Mother-In-Law and said "You wife and daughter are doing fine". My response was "Thanks". Never realized it was finally there. My mother-in-law had to nudge me and say "Did you hear her, your daughter?". Wow cant believe I spaced that one. Anyway hope all works great for you guys.

Thanks all - Lily Grace (elgeesee) arrived at 7:50 this morning. She was 7 lbs. 8 oz. and 20 1/2" long. Mom and baby are doing terrific. My wife described the birth as "easy". We're just enjoying some quiet time at the hospital now.

Congrats! Spend every minute you can with her... All of a sudden the time goes by and they're all growed up. Mine's 20 now and a real daddy's girl. One if the best experiences in my life! :smile:

Now... since there's been a number of births here lately, I think a detailed How To is in order for the younger folks!! :D :lol:

What a gorgeous baby!! Mine were both bald for 2 yrs, practically. You got a great "HEAD" start....;)

Is this your first? If so, you understand your life is over, right? At least the one you used to have :lol: I'm on the way to the airport to pick up my 8 yr old granddaughter and just wanted to tell you that IT NEVER ENDS and it'll ALWAYS BE WORTH IT!

Congrats!!!! my daughter was born on 4/6/07 and weighed 7lbs9oz and was 20 inches long almost the same as yours thats crazy:nuts:
