I would look forward to week one but the Pandas (Bears) are no match for my beloved Bolts!

I'll follow the NFL as long as one month. In that time, if the Detroit Lions have not won *AND* Matt Millen remains the president of the team with no threat of losing his job, then I am officially BURNING any remaining Lions gear I might have, because the team will have OFFICIALLY been run into the ground. If this happens, my loyalty will jump to either the Broncos or Bills (whichever sucks least).

Unfortunately I believe in rooting for the home team and backing the state you're from. Plus I won't watch FB on TV, I only go to the games in person. So I am backing the Cardinals. Sorry, sad, pathetic, Cardinals that can only win bu FREAKING FLUKE ACCIDENT!!! Oh well.. maybe they'll win more than 2 games this year! :D I'll be at all the home games! (dad gets season tickets for free and HATES the Cards!)

tsk tsk...San Diego "dont dance on our home field logo...waaaawaaaa" Chargers lost their only chance to go to the Big Dance, and I'm glad that my 3 time champs the PATS put them in their place. Its great to see a one hit wonder team like SD almost complete an undefeated season to only choke on a big one at the end. Watching that game was PRICELESS!! At least SD learned a lesson from a GREAT TEAM, such as not being a glory hog and fall down on the ball instead of running with it and end up with a fumble.

I love how SD's classy runningback LT whined and showed how much class he really had by talking smack about a great coach like Bill B.

Pats don't need me to make excuses for them...they were physically drained, 3/4 of the team had the flu and a pretty good team put it all together and beat them(Yeah..Super Bowl Champs beat them..I can accept that) Not to mention playing in a pretty hostile place on the road.

All that said, they lost plain and simple..no crying, no whining...got beat by the better team that day.

Here is story about a couple of rings for ya, when Az hosted its first(and only as of now) superbowl a friend and I went to one of the parties going on that the players go to. He played some pool with Jerry Rice and Walter Payton, both who had rings on, my friend asked if he could see them both players tossed thier ring on the table and let him wear them. I will look around and see if I can find the photo.
